Visual identity for Unfolding Technical Objects, an exhibition organized by i2ADS that brought together 97 historical technical objects from the University of Porto and contemporary artworks exploring their material, experimental, and cultural significance.

Drawing from the visual language of technical manuals, the identity adopts the fold as its central concept: a physical trace of use, time, and transformation. This unfolding system extends across print, digital platforms, moving image, and the exhibition space itself, positioning design as a mediator between objects, histories, and new interpretations.

Visual Identity for ENED 2026

A convite do Núcleo de Estudantes de Design do ISMAT, tive a oportunidade de desenvolver a identidade visual do Encontro de Estudantes de Design de 2026. Inspirada no Algarve e na sua ligação ao mar, a identidade nasce de um efeito de ripple.
Tal como uma gota de água cria ondas que se vão espalhando, a ideia era representar o impacto que um único momento pode ter. Uma conversa, uma palestra ou um encontro podem dar origem a novas ideias, inspirações e ligações que continuam a crescer muito para além do evento.

Invited by the ISMAT Design Students’ Association, I had the opportunity to develop the visual identity for the 2026 Design Students Meeting. Inspired by the Algarve and its close connection to the sea, the identity is built around a ripple effect. Just like a drop of water creates expanding waves, the concept represents the impact that a single moment can have. A conversation, a talk, or a shared experience can spark new ideas, inspiration, and connections that continue to grow long after the event.
