A mountain workshop.

Part of the fun of zipping all over the countryside on various projects is getting off the beaten path and stopping in to see friends along the way. Taking the time, even when it’s never enough, to swing off the beaten path and visit is such a treat. Stopping by to see Mr. Jeremy Brown @wing_shootah was an absolute pleasure of an example.

Getting to spend the day chatting about making things, telling stories, playing with pups, seeing a slice of heaven tucked away on the mountain and getting to snap a few photos along the way was an absolute joy. The kind of days that remind me exactly why it’s so much fun to put the truck in drive and see where the road takes you.

Sitting in Mr. Jeremy’s shop and watching him work, gazing around at a building full of perfectly curated tools for the tasks at hand, I couldn’t help but to grab a camera and pick out a few details. Going back through the images of the tools and the shop, I had compared them to the finished piece and thought the contrast of black and white frames of tools and work being done in the background would only make the work pop that much more. All of the muted parts and work that goes into making a piece, all of the tools that it takes to pull it off and all of the talent that goes into making these works of art overshadowed but not forgotten by how beautiful each piece when finished truly is.

Looking forward to the next time my friend.

We are all just mind blown what this event has become! It was surreal to watch thousands of people congregate to a brand new beach we built by boat and land. This event was created as a celebration of the outdoor lifestyle and a way for us to connect with people who love the same things we do. We are a long way for the humble start of Reaper Fest and we can’t wait to see where it goes from here!

To @cityofmonroela thank you for believing in and support our vision.
To ALL of the brands and our friends in the outdoor industry, thank you for always showing up in a way we couldn’t even image.
To all of the volunteers and law enforcement it takes to put this event on safely and efficiently thank you.

Most importantly thank you to all of the Reaper Family and patrons for showing up in a HUGE way! We stopped counting at 800+ boats.

We turned a little boat run into a can’t miss Outdoor Festival. Reaper Fest will be back even bigger next year thanks to you all! Mark your calendar for August 7, 2027. #reaperfestforever
