POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Some lines are worth stopping for. For me as a reader, this one from King of Gluttony by @authoranahuang was one of them.

It made me pause and think about the person you choose to spend your life with, and whether having high expectations is really asking for too much. Spoiler Alert: It's not!

Sometimes you realise it soon; other times, it takes the life out of you. 🌼

Our long weekend started fun with our members 🥳

We talked about banned literature, got some excellent recommendations and new knowledge.

Then we moved on a bookish version of Name, Place, Animal and Thing game. We concluded with a pictionary game with everyone turning into Picasso 🤭

Waiting for our next meet this month. Meanwhile tell us one underrated banned book that you loved?

A pretty cover can be a very dangerous thing… because suddenly, your TBR has another 10 books. 👀📚

We asked our members to show us the covers they simply love, and we got some very beautiful picks.

And yes, we’re giving a little extra love to beautiful covers made without AI. 🎨🤍

Now it’s your turn - which one is your favourite? And what book would you add to this list?

P.S. I have tried to find the cover designers best to my knowledge. There is scope of it being wrong, so if you know the right name, do tag.

Not a book review.
Just a reading experience, and a few observations on craft.
@thequackturtlewrites , thank you for such a beautiful story. It was an honour to read it and share my thoughts on your craft.

Now that's something to look forward to and follow through ✨
Ali Hazelwood blends the STEM world and one of the most popular romance tropes with wit, precision and unlimited hypotheses that work beautifully both in and out of the lab. ❤️🔬
Rom-coms are as important as the dark romances...like 2 sides of the same coin.
So eagerly looking forward to the movie adaptation @thelovehypothesismovie 🩵

I Want to Die But I Want to Eat Tteokbokki: One of my most profound reads of 2026. 🌼

I came out of my reading slump at the beginning of this year after a while, and this was one of the first books I bought at the World Book Fair. It felt like looking into a mirror, reflecting everything good, bad, and ugly within me.
Every page seemed to echo my pain, anguish, and hope, all woven together. Each chapter felt less like reading someone else's story and more like understanding and confronting my own, one human being learning from another. I am grateful for this book and its author.

Ana Huang shot to fame with her novel Twisted Love, the first book in the interconnected Twisted Universe. 🩵
Beyond the romance, I liked how it explores the ways trauma shapes how we love, trust, and heal. What stayed with me was the reminder that living with our past can be harder than running from it, and that healing is a choice we keep making. @authoranahuang

At our June meetup we talked how everyone's first half of 2026 went and got to know some titles they would definitely recommend. We shall be sharing the list with you'll soon 🥳

We then went on to play Who Am I game where it was really fastest finger first for some of our members 🤣 congratulations to @sid_art27 who clearly was the fastest. Also got the bonus round.

Thanks to everyone joined, waiting for July now 🥳

P.S. missed some in the frame.

I read the Off-Campus series almost a decade ago. Back then, it was all about the romance, the hot hockey players, and the humour. Rereading it ahead of the show's release last month, I was surprised by how differently it stayed with me this time, more deeply when you've lived through a few things yourself.

@ellekennedyauthor 's book went beyond romance. This time, what stayed with me wasn't only the love story, it was the journey of rebuilding yourself after life has hurt you, and learning that surviving isn't the same as living. Sometimes, you have to learn the second part all over again.
