This is 35. So I was asked to do a showcase @thevapacenter . It was so close to my birthday, that I used it as part of my birthday celebration.

I thought it would be cool to go back to my roots and do music from the early 2000’s along with some originals.

And I thought it would be cool to change clothes on stage🤣🤣 Either way, I love to entertain and I love to use my voice. It is a gift from God and I want to share it with the world.

This is my birthday post bc I was completely overwhelmed last week(in a good way).

Thank you @thevapacenter for so graciously hosting me and my people! We absolutely enjoyed the space.

@miahniycole on 📸 🎥 Did such an amazing job!! Thank you sister!!

And so did my amazing band:
Fe
@jamisonbethea
@courtney.james.music
@bgod.__

And my amazing background singers/sisters
@mrsangeldanielle
@theraemonique
@kiraboosings

Thank you to my baby sister @brown.baby.drew and bestie sister @joellemeaghan for helping me day of to get things together and surprising meeeee🥹

And thank you to everyone who showed up to support me. Your presence means everything to me! I don’t take that lightly. The ones who’ve heard me sing a million times, to the ones who met me for the first time last Wednesday. I cannot thank you enough for you being there to celebrate with me!

Thank you!!

Part 3 | As I wrapped up my second annual Juneteenth Fish Fry, I found myself thinking about the power of tradition.

Every tradition starts with a decision. A decision to gather. A decision to celebrate. A decision to create space for the people you love.

What began as a way to honor Juneteenth has become one of my favorite ways to bring community to the table.

My hope is that this gathering continues to grow year after year—not because of what’s served, but because of what’s shared.

The stories.
The laughter.
The connections.
The joy.

Here’s to honoring the past, celebrating the present, and creating memories for the future.

Until next Juneteenth. ❤️

Part 2 | One of my favorite things about hosting is watching a room come to life.

The menu gets planned. The tables get set. The fish gets fried. But the best part is always the people.

This year’s Juneteenth Fish Fry was filled with everything I hoped it would be—good food, genuine conversations, plenty of laughter, and the kind of fellowship that reminds us why gathering matters.

In a world where we’re all busy, choosing to come together is something special.

These are the moments I want more of.
These are the memories worth making.

🎥 @thewmeffect @whitneyplease | DOPAMINE DEN : 2ND ANNUAL JUNETEENTH FISH FRY

Juneteenth, but make it community, culture, and good food.

This year, I celebrated by gathering with friends and family for a fish fry filled with laughter, conversation, and the kind of moments that remind us why traditions matter.

Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom, resilience, and the generations who paved the way. It’s also a reminder to slow down, connect, and honor the richness of our culture in both big and small ways.

Grateful for good food, great company, and another opportunity to celebrate Black joy.

I am so incredibly proud of my best friend @kbake87 on the launch of @mozingoskin! You are such a testament to having an idea, envisioning it, and seeing it through. Last night’s launch was proof of the love you’ve put into this venture and into the community that supports you. I can’t wait to see what you do next!

I’m ready for the next one! Prob because I’m ready for our next mini reunion 😂🤍
