One jump, two POVs. This was my first licensed jump & first in my own rig. I know, I know, BEER!!! I almost dipped on exit cuz my feet were taken off the step by the wind but I got back up in time. I was very nervous. Probably could’ve done better but my altimeter moved down my arm and I got sketched out; didn’t want John to touch my arm again... which is part of why I took so long to reconnect you can see me staring at my altı like 🫪 sank out on the second go at our tasks and then it was time to separate. More to come, a lot to learn. A thankful to have so many people around me willing to teach me and just have a good time.

I graduated AFF today and am on to student solos tomorrow. I did it while sick. I did it even when I was scared. I downsized my canopy today. Had a blast doing flips and got my first fruit loop! Huge thank you to @gdbowen1012 who has literally been there since day 1 and has been my instructor of EVERY one of my AFF levels. I am no longer Baby Carlos! (Forever Baby Carlos though 💁🏻‍♀️) also my first jump without my love present at the DZ. Sad he missed it but so excited at how I’m one step closer to my license and then we can jump together all of the time 🫶🏻 will my song choice get better? Probably not. Will my landings get better? Hopefully. My tailbone thanks me for not sliding it in today 🥰 thank you @spoonlooter for introducing me to this sport and for being my biggest supporter, I love you. Also thank you @skyguy_e90 for letting me use the “lucky goggles” through AFF 🤙🏻 #AFF #student #freefall #skydive #flip

I'm still on cloud nine after organizing John's 100th jump! It was incredible to see the growth of our jumpers, many of whom were students just last season. The best part? Capturing the magic of this milestone moment! #flyafukynfalkyn #100th #gorpo11 #justjump #flyfluid

Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it.

We get to work together, grow together, and play together… all while watching these amazing kids grow up right here at the drop zone. Running around, laughing, being fearless, and just being kids—there’s nothing better.

This isn’t just a job. It’s a family. It’s a lifestyle. It’s something special that not everyone gets to experience, and we never take that for granted.

DZ family life hits different. ❤️✈️🪂
