📚 COVER ART THAT DESERVES TO BE FRAMED | PART 1 🎨

💬 QUESTION: What book cover made you fall in love with a book before you’d even read a single page? 👀📖

They say never judge a book by its cover, but when books look THIS good, how are we supposed to resist?! 😍🔥

I thought it was about time I showcased some of my favourite covers from my collection, and what better way to start than with these absolute beauties! 📚✨

From breathtaking illustrations and vibrant colours to intricate naked hardbacks and stunning sprayed edges, these editions are works of art in their own right. 🎨💛

One of my favourite things about collecting special editions is seeing how much creativity and attention to detail goes into bringing these stories to life beyond the pages.

And believe me, narrowing down my favourites was no easy task! 😂

This is only Part 1, because there are far too many gorgeous editions sitting on my shelves to squeeze into one post! 👀

👇 Which of these covers is your favourite? And what book should I feature in Part 2?

I have tagged some of you to take part 😈

🍁Happy Fall Equinox 🍁

AKA the first day of fall 😆😆

In honor of this glorious occasion @alexcrayonsbooks made an autumnal tree stack and following suit I tried my hand at it too…tho mine is a bit more abstract and mushroomy…but we are all friends here and friends feed each others delusions so I would appreciate if you could tell me it looks EXACTLY like a gorgeous autumn tree 🙂‍↕️😘

I also saw @flip_the_page do a super cool spiral stack recently and since i had all these pretty fall colored books out i thought id try out a fall spiral stack✌🏼

But yeah happy fall!! Im excited to hopefully hunker down a bit and get some more reading done this fall! I just finished Malice ( review coming maybe? Words are hard and im not good with them😅) and so im excited to continue with that series! Among the hundreds of other books I also want to get to 😅

Also i love the shadow in the 2nd slide 🤣 im trying to figure out what i see and it keeps changing 🤣 and now im curious as to what you see?? 👀

QOTD: Do you call it fall or autumn???

Tagging some homies for a tree stack! Or maybe try the spiral? Its really up to you, but as always no pressure 🥰✌🏼🫡

🍁September Stack 🍁

Thank you the the lovely @sci_fibookfntc , @drbookmrcoffee , @alexcrayonsbooks & @raven_reads666 for the tag on this one! 🥰🥰🥰

I am soooooooooooo fucking ready for fall 😅 I long for the days to be buried in sweatshirts/sweaters and blankets while sipping a warm drink. In the meantime I’ll settle for fall decor and iced fall drinks with that sweet sweet pumpkin cold foam 😋

Book wise im almost done with Empire of the Vampire and honestly I’m not sure if I’ll continue with the next one ….its not bad I just don’t feel like I love it or care enough to continue 😅

I am however super exited for my next audio book cuz I’m going to finally read The Shining 😆 I’m very new to the scary/horror/thriller genre so this will be fun!! I love scary movies and all things spooky but somehow never got around to reading too many scary books…so as I make my journey into this new venture I would appreciate any and all book recs ! 😊

QOTD: favorite scary movie?
I love a good psychological thriller! I love questioning everything and not being able to sleep…it’s fun! 😅🤣 also a big fan of a cheesy horror or a fun slasher

QOTD2: What is something that scares you??
Not super original but I have a terrible fear of spiders…. Like jump and run away scared

Tagging some homies for a September stack but as always no pressure 🥰🫡✌🏼

One of my favorite parts of Bookstagram is making friends and getting book recommendations from them!

What book do you ALWAYS recommend to others or what book has been added to your TBR because of a friends recommendation?

The lost Volsik heir has finally returned to the people of Íseldur, and even with the warrior who’s captured her heart standing by her side, Silla’s task is monumental. She must earn the loyalty of the northern jarls to drive Ivar Ironheart from the throne and restore peace in the kingdom. But the secret she vigilantly guards threatens to ruin all her plans: A shard of a god lives in her mind, twisting her thoughts and deeds to His will.

Meanwhile, held captive on the mysterious isle of Zagadka, Saga Volsik fights to return to her sister in Íseldur. But when King Ivar sets his sights on the Zagadkians, she’s forced to make an impossible choice: fight for the man who stole her—and is now hell-bent on marrying her—or let the innocent people of his kingdom die.

As a poisonous mist threatens the realm, the sisters will delve into the unknowns of their magic to battle against evil. Return to the land of ice and fire, where a god awakens, a queen finds her power, and sisters must unite against the darkness threatening their realm.

A grieving blacksmith fighting for revenge. A tortured rebel fighting for freedom. A ruthless king out to destroy them both.

Three years after the loss of her mother and sister, Alvara survives through endless hours at the forge, training with her spear, and consuming what some would consider too much sugar.

When she is tasked with delivering a sword to another kingdom, she expects the worst part of her journey to be traveling alongside the elf who broke her heart.

…not finding herself imprisoned in King Einar’s dungeon. And learning he was responsible for her sister’s death.

To avenge her family, Alvara must join the growing resistance and train with a handsome rebel leader, who isn’t at all what he seems, to control the magic she has locked away for so long.

As war looms and the fate of the five kingdoms hangs in the balance, Alvara is forced to confront her past or risk tearing herself and the rebellion apar
