7 Aum Arivu is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language science fiction martial arts action film written and directed by A. R. Murugadoss.

The film bridges ancient history and contemporary science. It follows Bodhidharma, a 6th-century Buddhist monk, martial arts master, and physician from the Pallava dynasty who travelled to China, where he is revered as a legendary figure who taught martial arts and healing techniques. In the present day, a Chinese covert operative named Dong Lee arrives in India to execute "Operation Red"-a government-backed biological warfare plan to destabilize the country using a deadly virus. Subha Srinivasan, a genetic engineering student, discovers that Aravind (a circus artist played by Suriya) is a direct descendant of Bodhidharma. Subha enlists Aravind to awaken his dormant genetic memory, allowing him to harness Bodhidharma's lost skills, combat the antagonist, and neutralize the biological threat.
