It’s Pastor Appreciation Month! We are incredibly grateful for the leadership God has given our church. Let’s remember to honor and pray for them. Here are 3 ways we can pray for our pastors:

Pray for wisdom and faithfulness. “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God” (James 1:5). Pray for God to guide our pastors in teaching, decisions, and care for the church.

Pray for strength and protection. Pray that God would sustain our pastors through weariness and help them stand firm in faith (Isaiah 40:31; Ephesians 6:10–11).

Pray for love and boldness in ministry. Pray that our pastors would speak God’s word clearly and serve others with patience and compassion (Colossians 4:3–4; 1 Peter 5:2–3).

It’s hard to put into words how grateful I am for these two and the way they have loved and served our church over the years.

Paul was our very first pastoral resident. Dominique served faithfully as our Family Ministries Director. And together, they poured so much of themselves into our students as our youth pastors, loving, discipling, encouraging, and investing in a generation of young people. Their fingerprints are all over our church, and especially on the lives of so many of our kids.

As their pastor, I’m grateful for the countless ways they have served. As a dad, I’m especially thankful for the way they have loved and invested in my own children. And as a friend, I’m going to miss having them close.

Transitions like this are bittersweet because you can be genuinely sad about what you’re losing while also being genuinely excited about what God has ahead.

Paul and Dom, thank you for saying yes to Jesus over and over again. Thank you for loving LOFT City so well. Thank you for the conversations, prayers, meals, trips, youth retreats, Sunday mornings, and all the quiet acts of faithfulness that most people will never know about.

We love you guys. We’re going to miss you tremendously, but we’re also so excited that you get to be closer to home and family in this next season.

You may be leaving Richardson, but you’ll always be part of the @loftcitychurch family.

Last night was a beautiful reminder that ministry doesn’t have to be lonely.

No agenda. No platform. No presentations.

Just pastors, church planters, spouses, and kids gathered around tables, sharing stories, laughter, and a meal together.

Different churches. Different traditions. One shared hope: seeing Gospel saturation across Dallas County.

Shout out to David Larlee, the Rector at St Bart’s Anglican Church for providing the amazing bbq!

Tag yourself below if you were with us!

HAPPY 15TH BIRTHDAY, LOFT! 🥳

In honor of it being 15 years as a church, here are some pictures of the pastors and staff at 15. We are beyond grateful for all the Lord has done in our church family. We can’t wait to celebrate together on March 29 at our 5th Sunday Service!

What a night to remember. ✨

Tonight we gathered to dedicate our new home — a space that is so much more than walls and rooms. It’s a tangible reminder of God’s faithfulness, of prayers answered over years, and of a story that He has been writing from the very beginning.

We are overflowing with gratitude — for our @loftcitychurch family, who have prayed, served, given, and believed through every season… and for the many friends, pastors, and partners who came to celebrate with us tonight. Your presence, your encouragement, and your love mean more than words can say.

This building is not the finish line — it’s a launching pad. And we can’t wait to see how God will use this space to point people to Jesus, love our neighbors, and continue building a beautifully diverse family right here in Richardson.

From a living room Bible study to this moment — all glory to God.
