Happy Birthday @peter_aaron_rocknwrite !!! Here’s wishing you all the best! Hopefully no one minds if I use this opportunity to have @danav.hatch tell a story about @cheater_slicks & Chrome Cranks. We first met the Chrome Cranks in 1994 when they joined us at Mama Kin, a club owned by Aerosmith in Boston. We also met long-time compadre James Arthur, in Fireworks at the time but now with Cheap Fix. The green room scene got pretty wild and an ornate glass coffee table got smashed. Security angrily asked “Who’s gonna pay for that?” and the answer they got was “Steven Tyler!” These guys would be legends for the Cranks alone but each member boasts a staggering scumrock resume. They ain’t new to this, they’re true to this. @cheater_slicks @peter_aaron_rocknwrite @therealbobbert @teelmusic @gene_mullett @peter_aaron_rocknwrite @valleydaleballroom #CS40

@therealbobbert reflects on a life shaped by Sonic Youth, Andy Warhol, and over 40 years in underground music. We discuss creativity, grief, resilience, caring for loved ones through illness, and why the journey matters more than the destination.
