We did it! I am so incredibly proud of everyone in the cast. These people have come to mean everything to me. This musical has been my favorite of all time not just because of how good the show was but how good the people in the cast were.

I would first like to say how proud of all the people that have started musical this year! You guys are amazing and I know how scared you were at first but you guys have grown to be amazing performers and I am so proud of you and hope you continue to perform, at least for the rest of high school.

Tech team, I am so thankful for everything you guys do. As Taner would say they “light up your world.” Ella, thank you for becoming one of my good friends you are such a great stage manager and I’m so glad we have someone like you. Jared and Taner, we didn’t really talk that much but I’m so glad you guys are apart of this team and I hope to see you continue this next year.

For the returning members, I am so incredibly proud of you. The last few years have been rough but we stuck through it and here we are. I love watching you grow overtime you guys are so incredibly talented and I am so thankful that I get to call you my best friends.

I am incredibly sad to see my seniors leave. Especially my best friend. You have been here for me no mater what and I can’t imagine doing a show without you. I love you more than you will know.

I would also like to thank Ms. West and Ms. Marshall. West has been here with us through everything and helped us grow as performers and as people. We are so grateful for her. We are so happy Marshall came back this year. It wouldn’t have been possible without her. She has helped me improve to greater heights than I knew was even possible in less than a year. I can’t imagine what she will do next.

If you are thinking about auditioning next year, even just a little bit, do it. It can bring you the most important people in your life.

Thank you for an amazing junior year, I love every single one of you. Thank you for being my family and home.

Until next year💕

we did it ❤️

5 months ago i walked into auditions not thinking much. i thought that this was just going to be another musical im gonna do with my friends. but that was not the case at all. this musical has been my most favorite things ive ever done. i would go to rehearsal everyday with a smile knowing i would get to be surrounded by people that are so kind and talented. this has been my home away from home. it has been my escape from all kinds of things. we created a safe space for everyone in the cast.

from the bottom of my heart thank you to the cast, who decided to audition and put in so much of their time and efforts. thank you to our directors, they pushed us to do our very best. thank you to our tech team, they helped us make our show look amazing.

thank you to everyone that came and supported our show. the love we got was insane.

if you're thinking about doing theatre, do it. this is the best experience you will ever have.

until next year, ❤️

This year has been a rollercoaster. I laughed, smiled, cried, grieved, and felt a bunch of new emotions. I've gone out of my comfort zone many times this year. I even played a violin solo in front of a crowd.

If you would've told me last January that my world would flip upside down, I wouldn't have believed you, but here we are. This past year I lost a few friends but I've gained so many more. I never thought I'd ever go to East, and when I first came here I never thought it would be my home. I've met so many wonderful people and I'm so grateful for all of them.

I accomplished so much this year. I got into my first college choice, continued learning how to cook, learned the euphonium, how to sing properly, got into all district, learned to take care of myself before others, learned that family isn't blood and just because you're blood doesn't mean You're family, and just so much more.

The beginning of the year was definitely rough. 😅 I got my heart broken, my mental health got really, really bad, I got put into foster care, moved schools, forced to quit my job, had my phone taken for like 6/7 months, lost contact with almost all my friends, most of my central friends haven't contacted me since I moved schools, and celebrated my birthday alone. Despite all of that, I looked at the positives and I'll continue to do it.

I'm excited for what 2024 is going to bring me. I just know I'm going to accomplish so much. I know people are always saying that ____ year is going to be their year, but I just know that 2024 is going to be my year. In 2024 im turning 18, 🎉🎉 graduating, getting a new car, an apartment, free college, and I already know I'm going to do so much more.

My favorite memory from this year definitely has to be winning 3rd at midstates. That's definitely a memory I'll forever treasure. 💙💛

Here's some resolutions that I have for this upcoming year:

- Quit trichotillomania
- drink more water
- Every week write one good thing that happened
- start journaling
- start saving money
- cut screen time
- read 20 books (I read ~13/14 this year)
- meditate more
- learn how to drive 😅😅
- spend more time in nature
- learn a new skill/hobby

And that concludes my senior marching year. This feels very bittersweet. I never thought I would love you guys as much as I do.l, and I never thought I'd ever make one of these posts. On my first day of band camp I thought to myself, "Man, this isn't the group for me. I can't march here." But here I am now. A proud raider. You guys opened your arms and let me be a part of your family. You gave me a home, and life long friends. This was the best season and the most fun I've ever had. There were so many times I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe, and I wish I could do it again. If I had a chance to change the past and make it so I didn't come to East, I wouldn't. I will forever be grateful for the family, memories, laughter, hope, and love you guys gave me. I couldn't have asked for a better senior year. I truly love you all. <3

East Pride!!!
