In SIX short days the three of us will be wheels up headed to Vegas for nationals. I couldn’t be more honored to walk along side these two amazing women. This is truly a unique and beautiful sisterhood that more women need to experience. These shots were taken by Kristi during our first photo shoot with the one and only Rick Martinez, and it will forever be one of my favorite days. This was the first time we really got to start to get to know one another and settle in to our new roles representing Ohio. Our trio is really one of a kind and I cannot wait to to cheer you both on in a few days! O-H!!

All the feels as I reflect back on the last week watching my girls on stage.

@therealdanabrown is the epitome of athlete meets pageant queen. She is so focused, zoned in, and doesn't let anything rattle her. When she came out in swim, I am telling you - the energy of the entire room changed and was electric. She amazes me with her strength, confidence and determination.

@marincurry came to compete fresh off study abroad in South Africa and made friends everywhere I looked. She did her own hair and makeup all week for the first time ever at a pageant and looked GORGEOUS! Watching her win so many optional awards was so fun but my favorite thing was hearing her crush her onstage question!

@mariannecurry finally got to live her dream of competing in a pageant with her daughter and gosh that was fun to watch! She has never walked better in gown and was in full 'momma mode/oh yeah, I am competing too!' which is no small task!!! M, you looked stellar!

And @mrs.houchin - my podcast cohost and bestie. Not only did she walk away with her highest placement ever, but she absolutely nailed every single aspect of competition. Her hard work prior to this pageant was so evident from fitness to gown to onstage question. Shout out to @itschristineharmeyer for the amazing walking choreo and making sure she was fully confident doing fitness for the first time! I was in tears so many times with joy and pride watching Kristen shine on the stage.

I can't put into words how it feels to watch your people do their thing and do it well. It's just my favorite.

No that I’ve caught up on my sleep, wow what a week!
I am so proud to have placed top 6 in the nation and have been recognized as your 5th runner up! And the Miss state costume winner! Let me tell you, the competition was fierce! All these women are so INCREDIBLE! It was an honor and a privilege to take the stage and stand with all of them! Huge congratulations to my fellow contestants and my fellow finalists, especially huge congratulations to our new AMB Miss @morganrhiana
I loved getting to know all of you this past week and form a sisterhood with you all. I just know you will all continue to do incredible things and I only hope I’m lucky enough to see you all again soon!

I went to give a huge thank you to all my friends, family, sponsors and my adoring boyfriend who have supported me along this journey. Those that were with me in spirit as well as those that were able to come to the show. Your support was felt and truly means the world to me; I hope I made you proud!

Now please enjoy the photo dump!
