Had the honor and privilege to work on a project very close to my heart. Old heads will know my history with Slender Man media, from my origins as a massive fan to eventually branching into making my own series (that we don’t need to talk about lol). It’s something that not only was a doorway for my own creativity to cultivate, it also was a community where I found friends I would know for over a decade now.

It’s weird to think about, but in a way this feels like the end of a lot more than DarkHarvest00, or the old Slenderverse. It really does feel like the final bow of an internet that’s all but gone at this point. That beautiful amateurism which really defined what being online could be, without the shackles of big media to hold it down.

To be given the opportunity to portray what I believe is one of the best onscreen depictions of The Slenderman is nothing short of something I will never forget. The pride that I feel for Chris, Heather, and Alex for finishing this journey with us can’t be understated.

Long Live Dark Harvest 🩷

And so 2024 comes to a close. To quickly recap the most insane year of my life so far…
- Screened my short film at Unnamed Footage Festival (and later released it online)
- Edited & released a TRILOGY of documentaries
- Co-hosted three live shows
- Won an award???
- Wrote, directed, and edited a found footage feature film
- Flew across the country to shoot another feature film (a documentary about a subject I never thought I’d get to cover)
- Started co-writing & producing a webseries
- Got involved in the revived Slenderverse community and started a website as a side project
- Started writing a mystery project…

It’s been a wild year of creativity, experimentation, and the biggest highs in my time as a filmmaker so far. From editing a docuseries nonstop for six months to organizing the coolest (and most chaotic) three week event/premiere of my life, jumping immediately into shooting a feature for six weeks, then jumping into pre-production on my next doc and getting on a plane shortly after that to shoot it, then getting home to edit the aforementioned feature that I only just finished this week… it’s been nonstop chaos. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I’m endlessly grateful that I’ve had so many opportunities and I couldn’t have done it without all of the wonderful collaborators I’ve met and worked with this year; the hardworking crew on my narrative feature film, the kickass moderation team for the Out of Game live shows, the new collaborators I’ve met on the team for Grimoire, all the Slenderverse folks I’ve gotten closer to this year, the awesome team at Unnamed Footage, my producer Rain, and so, so many more. There are 20 people tagged here and that doesn’t even scratch the surface… I literally don’t have space to list all of the ~200 people I’ve worked with this year but I am so thankful for each and every one of them. It’s been a LOT and 2025 promises to be just as wild. I can’t wait.
