I give thanks to God for giving me the ability to play at the level I was able to. I prayed throughout middle school and highschool that he would allow me to work hard in hopes that I would become just good enough to play at that next level, so that I might be able to minister to those about the word, and sitting in the bullpen gives plenty of opportunity to speak. College has a way of distracting you at times but I always found my way back to him. I first thank God and the family my Lord has blessed me with. This game has brought me lifelong friendships, and mentors. This game has given me opportunities to feel success and opportunities to grow in character and work ethic, while pursuing my degree. I have no shortage of gratitude for the game of baseball, and everyone I’ve met along the way, it is the game above all other games. CB out ✌🏼#dirtybirds

It’s hard to find the right words to say goodbye to a game that has been such a big part of my life for so long. Baseball has been much more than just a sport to me- it’s been a place where I grew up, where I learned who I am, and where some of the best possible memories were made. Ever since a kid, I had a dream. I dreamed of playing baseball at the next level, of stepping onto a college field and proving to myself that all the hours, all the early mornings, and all the sacrifices were worth it. Back then it felt so far away, almost impossible. But through dedication, hard work, and the people who believed in me, I was able to achieve goals I never thought I could. That little boys dream became a reality, and that’s something I will carry with me forever. To my family - there are no words that can fully capture how grateful I am. You were there at every game, every tough moment, and every big achievement. You sacrificed your time, your energy, and so much more just to support me in chasing my dream. I wouldn’t be here without you all. To all my dawgs- thank you for being my brothers. The long practices, bus rides, the wins we celebrated, and the losses we had to learn from… those moments mean everything to me. Baseball gave me friendships that go far beyond any field, and I’ll forever be grateful for that. To all my coaches- I want to say thank you. You didn’t just teach me how to hit a ball or field a grounder, you taught me discipline, toughness, and how to handle both success and failure. You pushed me when I needed it, believed in me when I doubted myself, and helped shape me into not only a better player, but a better person. And most importantly I want to say thank you to Jesus Christ for making all of this possible. For giving me the strength to keep going when things got hard, for blessing me with the opportunity to play the game I love, and guiding me through every step of this journey. None of this would’ve been possible without Him. Baseball- thank you for everything. Thank you for the lessons, the memories, the friendships, and the opportunity to chase a dream. Even though this chapter is coming to an end, what you’ve given me will last my lifetime.
