POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I wanted to love this one. I really did.

The beginning asked for patience, and I gave it. The ending asked me to rethink everything... and unfortunately, that's where we parted ways.

I know The Silent Patient is a favorite for so many readers, but that twist just didn't land for me. Instead of making the story stronger, it made everything that came before it feel a little... empty.

⭐️⭐️☆☆☆

Still, every book doesn't have to become a favorite to be worth reading. Sometimes the best part is figuring out why it didn't work for you.

Tell me I'm not alone... did the ending leave you impressed or irritated? 🤎📚

New books have found their way home. 🤎📚✨

My shelves are filling up, my heart is happy, and my TBR is getting beautifully out of hand. 🌻

I've also been sitting with a few reviews...

Let's just say, there are some flowers to give... and a little side-eye too. 👀🤎

Stay close. The stories are just getting started.

Hi, I'm Terese. 🤎🌼

This page was born from a simple realization that I don't just collect books, I collect versions of myself.

For a long time, I read to survive.Books became the place I escaped to when life felt too loud, too heavy, or too uncertain.

Then, somewhere along the way. Survival became softness.

The stories I once disappeared into slowly taught me how to return to myself.

The woman who needed hope.

The woman who needed escape.

The woman learning softness after survival.

The woman still becoming.

Every story I've loved has left something behind, more courage, more tenderness, more imagination, more grace.

So this isn't just a place for book reviews. .It's a sanctuary.

A quiet corner where beautiful stories meet beautiful living.

A place for Black romance, historical fiction, literary fiction, slow mornings, golden light, fresh flowers, coffee that lingers, and the kind of books that stay with you long after the final page.

I believe stories can heal.I believe softness is strength.

I believe beauty is a form of abundance.

I believe choosing joy, beauty, and rest is its own kind of revolution.

So pour the tea.

Open the windows.

Let the sunlight find you.

Read one more chapter.

And stay a while.

If you've ever disappeared into a book and returned feeling just a little more whole...

You're exactly where you're meant to be!!

Welcome home.

Ase💛

💜💚 I don't have the words to express how overjoyed I am to marry the love of my life or how beautifully we were celebrated by my friends and family yesterday. Simply put: I love you all. Thank you. 💜💚
