This is my second semester of classes at @lacccinematv @lacitycollege and I’m having SO. MUCH. FUN.

Here’s me from last night directing a scene for my Intro to Directing class. I get to point at things and tell people what to do…it’s a freaking blast!

…childhood dream, y’all.

Lillie, thank you for letting me know in your own special way last night, that you made your transition exactly a year ago. I couldn’t believe what I was reading. I can imagine you saying, “Girl, I been gone.” 😂 Thank you for always speaking life, and making me laugh even when you were dealing with your own struggles. I reflect on when we had our first conversation waiting for the Marta train in Atlanta, 16 years ago. Even though we were both going through it, you still found something hilarious about our situations. I am going to miss your laugh, talks, and breaking bread, because we both love to eat. I am happy you got to see what you spoke in my life at Atlantic Station by the water in Atlanta, then you told me again, when we were leaving the Decatur library, that my husband was in California. Long story short, you got to witness and see him approach me for the first time, on our way to West Angeles to have some good church, which you loved. You loved to worship, sing, and praise God. He had to treat us both to chicken wings, fries, and a drink, before the evening service started. 😂
My sincere condolences and prayers go to Pamela Ward, the whole family, and friends. I am truly going to miss Lillie. The angels are rejoicing.🙌🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾😇🌹🌹❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹😇😇😇🥰🥰🥰🥰

The day I met you, I was carrying a broken kind of faith-convinced that love wasn’t meant for me again. But then you walked into my life, steady and true. Now, here we are, ten adventurous years later. What a journey it’s been. It has been both a blessing and an honor to walk beside you, to love you, and to witness your growth into the incredible, inspiring, and truly divine man you are. You are God’s gift to me, and I cherish you with my whole heart. I adore the life we’ve built and the man you continue to become. Here is a toast Hubby @therealkennethdavis, to 10 amazing years. I love you.❤️😘😍🥂🍾🥂

I remember like it was yesterday, 13 years ago, when we first met @therealkennethdavis on Crenshaw, before there was an Exposition Line, and we are still riding this train of love together ❤️🔥🔥🔥❤️🥰😘
