I’ve had to avoid hikes for a long time due to limitations from ulcerative colitis. Lately my symptoms have come to a point where I felt more comfortable taking a chance on it and I’m so glad I did. It’s been about 8 years since the last hike and I’m hopeful my next one will be much sooner. Big thanks to friends who provided support, comfort, and patience to help make this happen.
