VIJAY'S TOP 12 IS IN. And #1 might surprise you. πŸ‘‘ For Sunday's episode celebrating Tracie Spencer x Shanice Wilson, @vijay_chandegra broke down his Top 12 from both catalogues. So many classics, but only one could take the top spot. His 1: Shanice Wilson - "It's For You" Here's why in his own words: " For You is the perfect R&B record for me. That intro alone - you KNOW what's coming. Shanice's vocal is effortless but surgical, she's floating over that @therealmangelo1 production but it's all her. No belting for the sake of it, just pure control, tenderness, and soul. And the lyric - it's not begging for love, it's OFFERING it. 'It's for you'... that's grown, that's intentional love. That song has been my comfort, my crush anthem, and my headphone healing for 30+ years. It never ages." We felt that. Do you agree with Vijay's 1? What's YOUR 1 from Tracie & Shanice? Full episode out now - link in bio. Clip dropping tomorrow. #ShaniceWilson #TracieSpencer ItsForYou VijaysTop12 Top12 #90sRnB RnBPodcast NewJackSwingEra RnBHead SoulMusic #RnBLovers
