Revenue doesn’t happen by accident. It takes the right people, systems, coaching, and leadership. I’m Max Notis, Founder and President of CoMission and host of Closing Conversations. Through CoMission, I work inside companies to build and strengthen sales teams. On Closing Conversations, I sit down with founders, investors, executives, and business leaders to talk honestly about building teams, developing people, and growing companies. LinkedIn has been our professional home. Now, we’re expanding the conversation to Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Follow along for podcast clips, guest perspectives, and practical insights on sales leadership, founder-led growth, team building, and revenue performance. Follow this account and check the first comment for links to our Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn pages. What sales or leadership topic deserves a more honest conversation? For founders, leaders, and sellers who win together. #closingconversations #comissionsopen #salesleadership #founderledsales #revenuegrowth

Why networking events? Why not just sitting behind the computer? Because that's where I meet people like Max. He found me through ChatGPT when he was just getting his business off the ground and booked a headshot session. We had never met before. Fast forward to today, and it's been incredible watching his company grow...he's the guy that gets your sales people ready to warp speed. One thing he said during that impromptu testimonial still makes me laugh: "I am so much more handsome on my LinkedIn photo than I am in real life. Hector's the guy." I'll take that. 😂 But what means even more is what happened after the session. A headshot isn't just a transact to getting a great photo. It's about meeting people, earning trust, and staying connected as their careers and businesses grow. Most clients are supporters. Some are connectors And some others are backers, those evangelists that go to the mat for you. Their credibility takes on risk, they open doors for you and Max, among others, is one of those That's the part of this business I never expected, and probably the part I appreciate the most. Who have you met through networking that you're grateful to know?

The outfit isn't the photo. You are. I get asked what to wear to a session more than almost anything else. And every time I say the same thing, I honestly don't know. Because for what you do, for who you are, there's a different answer. Yes there's guidelines but it's not a one size fits all. The nice suit won't make this work if you don't own who you are. Neither will the jacket or the t-shirt. What makes it work is you wearing it. My job is to coach you in a way that the camera agrees, this is someone who knows what they're doing. That's already there. We just slow down, pause, and catch it. Wear something you're comfortable in. We'll take care of the rest. Solid colors help. Good lighting helps. But nothing helps more than just being yourself in the frame. 📍 Norwalk, CT — link in bio to book.

This is what confidence looks like. Confidence in leading, coaching, and building winning sales teams. Max knows that sales—and headshots—are personal. It’s human. Your headshot isn’t just a box to check. It’s a tool to amplify your presence, break barriers, and lead with impact. Why not show up as the leader people want to follow? Congrats on launching CoMission, Max! 🔥

Recap of a needed WELLNESS weekend with my boys! Workouts, nature walks, meditation, sauna, cold plunges, music, jams, camp fires, great food, and great company. Nothing better! ⛰️🙏🔥 The older we get and more responsibilities we have with career, family, kids, business, etc. the harder it is to make time to see friends and stay in touch with each others lives. MAKE THE TIME! Such a needed weekend to relax and reset. One I will never forget. Grateful for my friends for making the effort and special thanks my 2 bros Josh and Dan @cityescapes_nyc for hosting this incredible weekend for us. If you want to get off the grid and escape to the Catskills Mountains in NY, hit up @cityescapes_nyc for the ultimate experience! 🏔️🧘‍♂️🎹🍲❄️🎷🍻🏕️🔥 #friends #cityescapes #catskillmountains #littletimber #ny #life
