BASS SUMMIT — THIS SATURDAY

The BASS SUMMIT DJ Competition meant more to us than simply filling an opening slot.

It showed us how many DJs throughout our community are ready to step forward, share their sound and be heard.

Submitting a mix takes courage. We know it isn’t easy to move beyond the fear of criticism, trust your creativity and place something personal in front of others to judge. Every DJ who entered took that step and every submission reminded us how much talent, dedication and potential exists within our scene.

To every DJ who submitted a mix, thank you. Your time, effort and courage did not go unnoticed.

After an incredibly difficult selection process, we are proud to welcome our BASS SUMMIT DJ Competition winner:

BASS SUMMIT THE JOURNEY CONTINUES.

We have a new home.

BASS SUMMIT is officially moving to Danzhaus in San Francisco on Saturday, October 10 · 8PM–4AM.

Following the unexpected circumstances surrounding our original Oakland venue, our team has spent the past several days rebuilding Bass Summit around its new home working through production, artist scheduling, the show run, and the overall flow of the gathering.

And we’re ready to move forward.

NEW VENUE. NEW STRUCTURE. SAME SUMMIT.

The move to Danzhaus means the original event structure has evolved.

What has not changed is what matters most:

THE LINEUP REMAINS INTACT.

THE PRODUCTION REMAINS INTACT.

THE VOIDS ARE COMING WITH US.

Royal Sound & Lighting + Audio Flex are bringing the soul vibrating VOID sound system, along with the lighting, lasers, visuals and production experience we’ve committed to from the beginning.

And the artists are coming with us.

LONDON ELEKTRICITY — 90-MINUTE DJ SET
NATTY LOU
JEWELZ BLU — BAY AREA DEBUT
NĀSTË
JUNGLE CRUISE — CORRINE & DUCHESS
CURTIS BLOW
CHRISTAFARI

And representing the Ground Up foundation:

THE DOCTOR · CTJ · NAYAN · ELEVENER · IBARRA · JESSICAT · ALEXXIDNB

Rather than forcing the original Oakland format into a different space, we’re building Bass Summit around Danzhaus itself.

8 HOURS. ONE GATHERING. ONE CONTINUOUS JOURNEY THROUGH DRUM & BASS.

All previously purchased Bass Summit passages remain valid. No action is required from existing passage holders.

We’ll continue sharing updated arrival information, artist scheduling, venue policies and everything you’ll need to know as we approach October 10.

To our community, artists and production partners who have stayed with us through an unexpected change:

Thank you.

SOMETIMES THE PATH TO THE SUMMIT CHANGES.

THE DESTINATION REMAINS.

Funny how two weeks in the desert can fly by when you’re livin your dreams 🖤

So much love to @royalsoundandlighting and everyone at @campquestionmark for putting together such an incredible stage with @voidacoustics. We were there pretty much every day, listening to music, vibing, and absolutely pumping the music on the playa 🔊🔊🔊

Also gotta give a huge thank you to @kowtamusic for throwing down a sick set and letting me store some equipment off-playa. We seriously appreciate you! 🙏

@campquestionmark came back to the playa this year with the intention of creating magic for everyone who experienced it, and they crushed it. Doing what we do isn’t easy, especially in this economy, but the love, drive, and magic showed in every part of it.

A night I’ll never forget 🖤 Thursday night partying at @skinnykittyteahouse was so much fun. We played deep into the night, and even when the rain started coming down, @djchristafari and @cannaba55 kept the music and vibes goin!

Definitely not going to the burn next year and everyone should not go, but we already can’t wait until next year! 🖤🔊🫶)’(
