Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope.

Today I was officially ordained as a Deacon @ccpnewark. My heart is full- the last 3 years have been nothing short of Gods redemptive grace, divine provision, boundless mercy and the evidence of what authentically walking in community has done in my life. I call CCP home and I am beyond grateful for the work God has done in my heart- I am a restored man because of the blood of Jesus.. A MAJOR reason for the deep change in my life is this beautiful community. GOD chose me- not because of me but in-spite of me. I cannot wait to begin the journey of being a Deacon in my community. My life is one example of many that there is NOTHING TOO HARD FOR THE LORD TO DO.

Our greatest revelation comes when we realize that we are fully seen, fully known, and fully loved by God.

“I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭2:1‬ ‭NLT‬‬

It would be a honor and such a privilege to pray for you. 🆘

“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
John 13:35

Right in the heart of Penn Station, our men’s ministry, Sons of Sunday, showed up with one mission on our minds:

Pray. 🙏🏼

As Christians, we are called to spread the Good News of God to all creation, starting right here in our local neighborhoods.

What we witnessed in the city of Newark was both heartbreaking and hopeful.

We must’ve had over 50 direct interactions with people walking by. Some we prayed for, and some prayed for us. Some cried. Some mocked. Some opened their hearts to the message of God. Others rejected it.

All were loved. ♥️

The sooner we realize how deeply we need God, the sooner we can begin to be a light in the darkness that surrounds us everyday.

It’s an honor to walk in faith with a group of brothers who revere God and are committed to fighting the good fight. May we continue to move in unity and grow His Kingdom.

People’s lives are at stake.

I pray that the seeds we planted yesterday will grow into true relationships with our Almighty God. 🙏🏼
