Congratulations to @farzana6478, recipient of the @Canonusa Award at EAW XXXIX!

The award is inspired by Kyosei, Canon’s philosophy of living & working together for the common good. That idea feels especially fitting at EAW, where people come together to share what they know, support one another & make room for new voices.

Farzana, a member of the Orange Team, received a @Canonusa EOS R5 Mark II, a BG-R20 battery grip & @canonusa RF70-200mm & RF24-105mm Z lenses.

The award was presented by @therebeccanichols, Canon USA’s Director of Education, Field & Sales Support & @mattcampbellphoto, Senior Manager of Key Agency & Pro Market Field Support.

Thank you to @Canonusa for supporting the workshop, this award & the next generation of photographers.

Head to the link in the @eddieadamsworkshop bio to watch the Orange Team’s presentation from the end of the workshop.

Thank you.

Thank you @canonusa for EVERYTHING. Thank you for all of the opportunities you’ve given me throughout the years. From supporting photographers and videographers at workshops. To leading workshops and photo walks. For giving me the opportunity to share my knowledge and experiences on school field trips. To traveling across the country helping aspiring and professional photographers and videographers. Every experience has eventually led me to this moment and has been something I’ll forever be grateful for.

To all the management that pushed me, encouraged me, believed in me, and always supported me. Thank you. Thank you for believing in me and helping me become better every step of the way. Thank you for giving me the opportunity and freedom to create content and express myself. Thank you for giving me a space to continue learning, growing, and expanding my knowledge in photography and videography. Thank you for trusting me.

To all my colleagues, thank you for the countless long trade show hours, the prep, the laughs, and the conversations and the memories. Those moments and friendships are what I’ll remember most.

To all the creators I’ve had the chance to work with, thank you for inspiring me. It has truly been an honor creating alongside all of you. Every collaboration, conversation, and experience has left an impact on me.

To all of my wedding couples and clients who trusted me to capture their big day, Thank YOU!Thank you for allowing me to capture your story.

To all the friendors I’ve had the privilege of working alongside at weddings. Thank you for the teamwork, support, and friendships. You’ve opened my eyes to understand that in this industry, we’re not competitors. We’re a community. And to always look after each other and support each other when in need.

And to all of my California friends and family — thank you for always being my rock and my motivation to keep going. You’ve been with me every step of the way. You’ve supported me through my highs and lows. You are the reason how I was able to push through my boundaries, which I’m now able to take this next step and embark on a new adventure.

Thank you ❤️

Another Super Bowl week at NAB SHOW Las Vegas 2026! Surviving and thriving and doing alllll the things. 🎤🎥📸⚙️💻 #nabshow

I locked focus on teaching 8 content creation and video production classes for professionals at @fmc_conferences Post | Production World, covering vertical video, solo storytelling, on-camera confidence, the video hustle, personal branding, and even helping brands work with creators. 😉 We got it done!

It’s always rad leading a full day hands on field 🎥workshop with my buddy @ryangrams @studioupgrade for the third year in a row! You gotta join us next year for our Content Creator Masterclass! 👊

Good times stepping into B&H’s podcast studio to tape an episode of GalsNGear’s Tequity Talk with Amy Delouise! @galsngear @adbrandbuzz #galsngear @bhphoto 🎤

Also interesting to talk travel tech with Rob Pegoraro and Jefferson Graham @jeffersongraham of PhotowalksTV on the Creator Lab Main Stage, a hub for creators of all kinds. Nerding out on airplane wifi and travel adapters, we went there!! :P. Thank you Elton Hubner of @eyes_multimedia for snapping such beautiful photos of us!

Of course, I loved drooling over all my fave cameras and lenses at Canon USA @canonusa! It’s always a joy to hang out at the booth and catch up with so many friends. #canonambassador 🎥📸

And OMG my Canon C50 video was playing on loop at the B&H Booth. How cool is that!

I also got up to speed on all the new products at @sandisk, stopped by the @manfrotto booth, and dove deep into Premiere at @adobevideo. Wow and wow.

So many hi’s and hello’s—it was all a blur!

What a delight to work in this creative industry with such great people. My cup is full.

NAB SHOW 2026, that’s a wrap. #nabshow2026

What were your highlights?

During my 30 year career I have never had a camera company make me feel like I truly mattered to them until now. The fine folks at Canon invited me on an all-expense-paid trip to Park City, Utah, to try out their gear while shooting some winter action sports. It was so much more than that, though. They wine and dined us. We chatted over drinks about life. They truly showed interest in who we were beyond photography. There was no hard sell. They just wanted us to know who they were and wanted to find out who we were. Well done, Canon. Your gear is amazing, but more importantly, you truly care about what you do and who you are doing it for..

I’ve been lucky enough to spend the last month testing out the new Canon R5 Mark II, thanks to meeting the incredible Canon Professional Services team at the Eddie Adams Workshop. Their commitment to supporting working photographers is the reason I was able to get my hands on these cameras—and I’m beyond grateful.

I put the cameras through their paces on two different shoots……

Shoot 1: A hotel banquet room with truly terrible lighting—exactly the kind of environment that shows what a camera is really made of. The R5 Mark II delivered big time. The color was spot on straight out of camera, and I didn’t have to tone anything in Photoshop. That meant I could transmit images instantly, cleanly, and efficiently.

Shoot 2: A project for the VA in Pittsburgh, shooting alongside a video crew. The quick shutter and lightning-fast autofocus let me move around their setups without interfering with what they were capturing. The camera kept up with everything I threw at it.

I am unable to share the photos I shot for the clients due to contractual agreements, but I can share some BTS from the VA shoot.

After this month, all I can say is… I’m very ready to leave the world of horrible Sony color behind and make the switch soon. 👀🔥

Thanks 2024. It’s been an unforgettable year. Grateful for all the people I got to work alongside with and for opportunities I had for work.

I would be lying if I said that this year was easy. From sleepless nights, Self doubts, and anxiety from juggling with Canon, my business, and being a dad. It definitely tested my strength and my patience (which I’m still working on). But like from previous years, with hard work, I made it through and can proudly say that this year has been a true highlight of my career.

I’m deeply grateful for everyone who supported me along the way—your kindness, encouragement, and belief in me meant everything. Thank you for being part of this journey. Here’s to growth, gratitude, and the road ahead 💕
