A Signs of the Time conversation with Anne in Decorah, Iowa

SOTT: You've hand-drawn a beautiful sign that says "Love for All."

ANNE: "Love for all" and "love" in sign language. Inclusive. Inclusive. Inclusive.

SOTT: Why this message?

ANNE: We need to embrace all abilities, all sexualities, all people. Human is human.

SOTT: Are you hopeful?

ANNE: I'm trying to be hopeful. I think there's a downfall for the big chiefs coming soon. I hope I am helping.

SOTT: Why is this message important to you?

ANNE: I have worked for social concerns, indigenous rights, LGBTQ+ rights for 32 years. I lived in the Bay area. I lived in Alaska on Inuit Eskimo land, travelled all 50 states spreading the word. It's important.

SOTT: Now you're here, and you're smiling.

ANNE: I live here, and that's where I do it now. Bloom where you are planted!

Signs of the Time is an all-volunteer collective that cares deeply about this fraught moment in time. We celebrate the creative ways people are demonstrating at rallies around the country by taking photos of protest signs and sharing the personal stories behind them. To submit your own sign and story, go to Signs-of-the-Time.com. Photos of signs and interview comments have been used with permission of the sign creators and volunteer photographers/journalists.

I literally watched the time tick to 1:54pm as soon as the reel ended by our amazing guide @thereckoningco

So I had to highlight some facts that can’t be manipulated by an external synthetic force

We Got this Chosen Ones, we’re unstoppable

Don’t forget to raise your frequency with this Divine music from @muditaseyes and use on your reels or share this one to raise the frequency of the collective

Love and light to all of you

Have a blessed day

Last line was:
.
unleashing invictus cadence
.
Gave it a run...I'm not used to having beats to work with and I need a real mic something fierce 😅. Best I could do with the mic on my cheapo headphones with no real experience to speak of IRL, should have just freestyled it tbh, but whatev., putting it up anyways.
#fyp #foryou #spirituality
.
ngl I was lmfao while I added the spirituity tag, but this started from a post done by @thereckoningco where she defined afflatus and never hearing it before myself I took it as a lyric challenge for absolutely no good reason 😅 🤷‍♂️
