THROWBACK TO:

OUR TRIP TO @letscher_fischhaus_angelpark

Our group consisted of @theredbacon @saubentraft.exe and @adimxn who outshined us all!

________________________________________________
We started the day off with a almost 2 hour drive to this, to us, new location.

We had seen online, that it had a Sturgeon & Carp lake, which we just couldn't resist to take a shot at!

The day started with 3 small Sturgeons caught by myself, all in the 1 - 2Kg range.

That was followed by a slightly bigger Sturgeon by @saubentraft.exe

Just a few minutes later, @adimxn yelled out from across the lake: "F*ck, it's a really big one!" Oh and how right he was!

After a short, but hard fight, the 10Kg beast got rangled into the net. Unlike with the last big Sturgeon, this one didn't break the net, but escaped it on the bank! I had to get a good grip on it, by it's gills and got a smack in the face from its tail as a respone.

We quickly dispatched the fish and took it to the cooling-house, getting met with smiles by other customers and the staff members.

Speaking of the staff!
We got greated by a friendly, helpful and humorous team of staff, both at the tackle shop and the cooling/fish-house.

We will definitely return and try to best our record of 10Kg!

Until then, Petri Heil and tight lines my friends!
