The Refillery is bringing bulk, low-waste shopping to markets around Edmonton, making it easy to stock up without bringing home another container every time you run out.

Bring your own clean containers from home and refill them with household essentials like concentrated laundry detergent, dish soap, handsoap and more. Use what you need, wash your container, and bring it back for your next refill.

Sometimes it’s easy to see the garbage in the parks as just part of the background when you’re walking through.

But the trash is still there until someone decides to take action, and it’s always surprising how quickly that same space can shift once people do.

Yesterday was a reminder of that, with 23 people showing up for our Earth Month cleanup with @therefillery.yeg

Thank you to everyone who came out and joined us! With your help we cleaned up one park in the Edmonton River Valley.

Join us for a garbage cleanup in Nellie McClung Park to celebrate Earth Day!

Meet at the Bison Lodge parking lot at 1pm on Sunday April 19th, where we will go over instructions and do a quick stretch before going on our merry way into the park.

Please bring:
- a pair of gardening or work gloves
- some layers, as it may still be a bit chilly
- a garbage picker upper (if you have one - we have some if you don't)
- a friend, or two (or come solo and make some new friends!)

Bags will be provided for garbage collection.
We will be gathering at Frank's Community Pub or the Colombian Coffee at 2:30pm up the hill on 99 Street for a post cleanup gathering - feel free to join!

Please share and invite away. The more the merrier! What better way to show Mother Earth some love than by cleaning up our beautiful river valley after the spring melt.
