Emerald had da little modeling session today in da mountains wif pawrents! 🍂

Fun fact! 13 years ago dis month, pawrents did their engagement photos at dis location! And even cooler fwens, dis piece of wood I's sitting on was there and they sat on some stacked ones too! Pawrents wete surprised to still see these wood slices here although they are deteriorating. Anyway, after their engagement photos, they returned and took a wood slice liker dis and dada sanded it, used wood hardener and a lacquer on top so it would be their wedding cake stand! It now sits on our hearth in da living room! 💚

With not a minute to spare we made it from da doggo park across town back by home so Emerald could be blessed for her 3rd year for da Feast of Saint Francis! 😇 Emerald bork bork during da short service but I's just pawticipated 🤭 then after da deacon gaver me da Holy Water, I thanked him! 🙏

There are many things to adore about Saint Francis of Assisi. But our favorite thing about him is his love for animals. He viewed all creation as part of a single family, famously preaching to birds and calling animals his brothers and sisters (mama loves dis!). He is recognized as the patron saint of animals. And while mama blesses me wif Holy Water daily, dis day is extra special. And we pray Saint Francis keeps me well 🙏

$More photos from today's very first Colorado Schnauzer Meetup! 🐾🐾🐾 When mama created my account (before she even had me) she made lots of friends in da L.A. area with all their adorable schnauzers. We are now fwens wif many of them! @sky_ladyschnauzer and her mama recently moved here and we had talked recently about getting together since I's been doing lotz better wif my's health.... Maybe a playdate ahead? 🫶 We don't live far from each other! We were supaw excited to finally have our very own meetup for da Colorado schnauzers! We will certainly go again since I did so well. (although yes, I wanted mama and dada to pick me up A LOT because I get scared but it was good!) Emerald made some new fwens!!!
