📣New course announcement: Oil and Acrylic Painting!

Starting this Monday 18 November we’ll begin a new afternoon course in painting, suitable for people of all abilities, led by artist Robert Macmillan.

This course runs every Monday afternoon from 1.30pm - 3.30pm for four sessions. Students are welcome to bring along a painting project they are already working on and support, guidance and technical instruction will be provided by the tutor. Each week you will be given the confidence to take a sketch to a finished piece. @robertmacmillanartist will provide demonstrations throughout the course. You are encouraged to bring along images that are inspiring to you.

🎨There are free to use materials at the centre for beginners to use and get comfortable with.

🔗All info on classes and workshops can be found on our website.

Light on Fields 2020, Coloured Ink, Coloured Pencil and Gesso, 59x84cm

"I paint landscapes from sketches and photographs mostly of places close to my home in Fife. I sketch outside with pens of all kinds, biros, coloured fine liners or highlighting pens and make further drawings from these using biro, coloured pencil, watercolour and ink, mixing materials up as I go.”
