Growing up, I always thought it was normal for both sides of the family—uncles, aunts, and cousins from my mom’s and dad’s sides—to regularly come together to hang out and celebrate holidays and life milestones. It wasn’t until I got older that I realized just how rare and special that kind of unity really is. I’m incredibly grateful to have been raised with a ‘family first, family always’ mindset. It recently hit me, because of that upbringing, I don’t just have a family, I have an army of ride-or-dies. That foundation shaped who I am as a father, and it’s exactly the kind of love, loyalty, and connection I want to pass on to my daughter. For that, I’m forever thankful. 🦃🍗🍂🍁🙏♥️

•DIRECTOR/MD for INTO THE WOODS•

-August 2023, Open Book Theatre Company (Brooks Theater)

This was my directorial debut🥹 I had never felt as accomplished in life as I did in this moment! Choosing this show as our first ever production was nothing short of a challenge, but being able to put on such a BEAUTIFUL masterpiece was nothing short of a blessing. This show changed me. It taught me. It healed me. It furthered me.

I met so many wonderful people, who took a chance on me and my dream, that have now turned into good friends, good colleagues, and have helped lay the foundation of OBTC. My passion, drive, patience, and resilience were all put to the test. I directed/music directed my first ever show, with no experience, and impressed myself with my abilities.

Without Into the Woods I wouldn’t be where I am today, and I am so forever grateful for this beautiful show, talented cast, and wonderful memory/stepping stone. 🌲🍞🐺

Answer for Cancer Night is coming up on March 1st!! AFC Night is a fun evening with a catered dinner, a photo booth, live student performers (pictured on the 2nd slide), a live dj, and an exciting silent auction. Last year, at the event we raised $8,000 for cancer research and we hope to make an even bigger impact this year! To attend, we ask that you donate $25 to our fundraising page linked in the bio or $30 at the door. We hope to see you there at this special event!! #curingcancerisinourblood
