The best part of donation day isn’t the donations 🤞🏾

Saturday we were at Coke Street Apartments with The ReUp Movement and a truck full of furniture, clothes, food and hygiene items. We even raffled off a treadmill and a few furniture pieces.

But what stays with me is watching people find the thing they actually needed and seeing their whole face change. You can’t fake that.

Felix has come out four times now, and he said it better than I could.

Grateful for The ReUp Movement and everybody who showed up. Everybody deserves a new beginning.

Our 5th Annual Everyday Love Back-to-School Giveaway was a SUCCESS! 🙌🏾 None of this would have been possible without every person who came out, volunteered, donated, sponsored, prayed, shared a post, gave their time, or simply showed love and support.

Seeing our community come together to pour into our children and families reminded us exactly why we do what we do. Every backpack, every school supply, every meal, every smile, and every act of kindness made a difference. ❤️

To our volunteers, donors, partners, supporters, and every family who came out — THANK YOU for trusting and supporting Everyday Love Ministries. We couldn’t have done it without you!

This is bigger than an event… this is COMMUNITY. This is LOVE. This is EVERYDAY LOVE! ❤️

It’s a blessing to be a blessing. Lead with love. And as always… THE BEST IS YET TO COME! 🙏🏾❤️🎒

What a day. What a community. ❤️

When organizations come together with one shared mission, incredible things happen.

A heartfelt thank you to Harvest Time Church for opening your doors and providing the space to serve. Thank you to Impact Ministries of Houston, God Chasers Outreach Ministries, The REUP (See You at the Top), The Regular Grand Lodge of Texas, and the Triad Champion Community Foundation for partnering with us and making this day possible.

Because of this collaboration, families experienced more than food and resources—they experienced the power of a community that cares.

This is what service looks like.
This is what partnership looks like.
This is what happens when we come together.

Here’s to many more lives impacted. 💙 #communityunited #houstoncommunity #communityimpact #strongertogether #servewithpurpose

These are fall webworm caterpillars 🐛

I never knew caterpillars make web like ecosystems…My next question is why?

They are constructing a communal silk nest to protect themselves while they feed on tree leaves.

They protect them selves from

Hungry Predators: Birds, predatory wasps, and spiders struggle to penetrate the sticky, dense webbing.

Bad Weather: The silk tent acts as a barrier against heavy wind, pounding rain, and extreme heat.

Drying Out: It creates a humid microclimate inside, preventing their soft bodies from dehydrating.

Viral Diseases: The enclosed structure can limit exposure to external, airborne insect viruses.

So now my question is; how can we use this skill?

When we are eating ( making money ) we sometimes get caught up in putting ourselves out more and showing up in ways that we couldn’t before.

But what happens when the food becomes limited?

We have to use this skill to build the foundation so that we can continue to grow.

We have to think generationally and not recreationally.

If you keep going without protection then you risk falling short of the goals set.

That means not pushing your legacy forward and making your family start from scratch once again.

Gratitude 🙏

The Everyday Love family is truly overwhelmed with all the love and support we received yesterday. Every message, every post, every “Happy Everyday Love Day” meant more to us than you know. 💛

But this day isn’t just about us — it’s about ALL of us. Everyday Love Day is for the world. It’s a reminder that if you love something, you should be able to do it every single day. Love shouldn’t be seasonal. It shouldn’t be occasional. It should be consistent.

Consistency is key.
You can do anything you put your mind to.
You can build it. You can grow it. You can become it.

This day belongs to every person choosing to love harder, serve greater, forgive quicker, and show up better.

We love y’all — and like we always say…
