🎉 It’s been about a month since the K Line opened!

#MetroArtLA is celebrating by sharing the award-winning short form documentary series, 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘝𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴 .

Made by director and producer @mobolajiolamb of @dreamseekermedia/Seeker Films, the series documented personal stories from community members over the course of 10 years as the K Line was being built.

Mobolaji’s approach to the series was informed by his personal relationship to the neighborhoods near the K Line.

My peeps @casa.la called, so I showed up today for the launch of @mytribehousing. @charity_chandlercole is a fierce advocate for foster youth. I applaud CASA/LA and @therightwayfoundation for partnering with My Tribe Housing to create a home for young men exiting the foster care system.

Today, our Executive Director Leslie Starr Heimov joined @casa.la and @therightwayfoundation for the ribbon-cutting ceremony for @mytribehousing! This new housing program will be a home for system-impacted youth in #fostercare. We are thrilled to see new resources to support young adults facing housing instability. Congratulations!
