Downtime... Visiting parents in West Palm Beach. Thanking the heavens for their kickass air conditioning! Freakin So' Flo' in summer! I can't blame them for moving out of the New York winters but I do miss hangin out in central park, the cathedrals, the museums, the food, did I say the Pizza, the serious artists and blood born bohemians, the long island beaches, the jazz clubs in the west village, broadway shows, the rockettes, trains anywhere anytime, all night anything and everything every night, 3 nearby international airports, the local rock clubs, the crazy kool bridges and tunnels, and of course the friendliest most helpful people one could ask for! OK just trying to grab something plain enough to wear around my parents retired pals for dinner tonight. Most of them probly from up in the north east as well. Cheers🥨🍻 🌃🌉🗽🧱🚉🧳

It was a total gas performing with Raiding the Rock Vault in the early days on the same stage and using the same dressing room as Elvis Presley. In those years us singers would enter the spinning time capsule contraption from behind it just before each number we were about to sing, the door would close and then as the host was announcing our song it would spin around like a carnival ride, the door would pop open and in a puff of smoke before the audience we'd leap out and then strut down the ramp as the tune got rollin'. Full on blast! Left to right is Doug Aldrich (Dead Daisies, Whitesnake, Burning Rain), Jay Schellen (Yes, Asia), Hugh McDonald (Bon Jovi, Alice Cooper), Yours Truly (Montrose, Kingdom Come, Burning Rain), Howard Leese (Heart, Bad Company), Michael T Ross (Lita Ford, Aldo Nova). Not on stage at the moment were singers Andrew Freeman (Offspring), Paul Shortino (Quiet Riot),and Cian Coey (Starship, Meatloaf). The show, which presented a walk through rock and roll history from the mid sixties till the late 80's was voted number 1 in Las Vegas for 11 consecutive years and called it quits in Vegas by its own volition Dec 31st 2025. In this particular shot we're jammin down on Led Zep's Stairway to Heaven as Doug is donning the red Jimmy Page Les Paul double neck. #lasvegas #love #rock #beautiful #life

My only "up close" Lindsey Buckingham "story" per say... in my time helping Ronnie M manage the incarnation of Montrose that I sang in, I made a connection with Bob Coburn the famed creator/host of the Rockline Radio show where legendary artists were invited on to come and answer a few fan questions but mostly to play their set live "on air" showcasing some material from an upcoming album or tour. Bob took a liking to me and after we appeared on the show with our current line up of Montrose he'd invite me down to the studio from time to time for a hang with an artist he knew I'd be into who was comin in. He was dead on target with my deep appreciation for Mr Buckingham. So I made some room in my schedule! After hangin and speaking with Lindsey for a few, amazingly he asked me if I wanted to come sit in the booth with him while he perfomed his set live on air. (Once again made some room in my schedule) The acoustics in the booth we sat in were loud and intense and so was Lindsey through every emotional turn in every note in every song. Starting with a slowed down super gritty version of Never Goin Back Again I was encapsulated with this rare genius who then jumped into a totally emotional outpouring of Big Love and my soul sailed off somewhere to another dimension as if I was flying (or crawling) backwards into a native american sweat lodge while being reborn into infinite ocean of connected empathic creativity with every breath. Dude was f$%king plugged in beyond ♾️!! (which makes total sense right?) Not sure what possessed me that day to throw on that trendy gold lip service SEX Jacket when I was going to be in the presence of such deeply earthy folks...but hey all walls melted so quickly there wasn't a molecule of vanity in the room. Lately I've been hittin parts of Europe performing in an acoustic duo format playing some of my songs, some I've cowritten in bands, and some dope covers and been figuring new treatments for them without the full band behind me tryin to still move an audience in a big way. I only hope that now and again I can be 25% as captivating in all ways as this magnificent gentleman Big #love  #fleetwoodmac #life #rock #music
