Thank You Jackson!!

I’m deeply honored and profoundly grateful to my wife and family, the voters, supporters, contributors, and the incredible campaign staff who worked day in and day out. We have taken a major step forward together. It is clear, Jackson is ready for change, Jackson is ready for unity, and Jackson is ready for leadership that brings everyone together.

To Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba and his supporters: I want to recognize and respect the energy, passion, and dedication you’ve brought to this race. I welcome you to join us in moving Jackson forward together.

Throughout this campaign, we’ve talked about what readiness means. It means ready to repair our streets and infrastructure. Ready to build a safer Jackson for our families and businesses. Ready to grow our economy, create jobs, and bring new opportunities to every neighborhood. Ready to restore trust in leadership and bring resources home from the county, the state, and the federal government. But most of all, Jackson is ready to come together—to rise above the divisions and focus on what unites us.

To my supporters—thank you for believing in this vision. To our contributors—thank you for investing in the future of this city. To my campaign team—you are the heart and soul of this movement. You’ve knocked on doors, made calls, organized events, and helped create the momentum with your dedication. And to the voters of Jackson—whether you voted for me, for Mayor Lumumba, or for another candidate—I thank you. Your voice matters. Your participation is what keeps democracy going.

I ask for your trust once again as we head toward the General Election on June 3. We’ve won this runoff, but we still have one more election ahead of us. Let’s take this energy, this momentum, and carry it all the way to the finish line.

Thank you, God bless you, and may God bless the City of Jackson!
