Sometimes creating the perfect home isn’t about adding more space. It’s about making better use of the space you already have.

This room previously used as a bedroom, was ready for a new purpose: a relaxing parents’ retreat away from the busyness of the main family room.

Taking inspiration from the colours in the tiles surrounding the existing fireplace, we built a palette of navy and aqua blues against a timeless neutral base.

A custom-made ottoman and cushions brought the scheme together, while a round rug, perfectly suited to the shape of the room, helped define the space and create a cosy, intimate retreat.

Real homes, real transformations.

We’re getting very close to completion on our Rozelle project, which means we’re now turning our attention to one of my favourite parts of the design process - furniture, art and decor.

While the renovation creates the foundation of a home, it’s these final layers that really bring it to life.

For Rozelle, we’re looking at a mix of soft, sculptural furniture, beautiful textures and earthy tones, with deeper burgundy and olive accents bringing richness and personality to the palette. When selecting furniture for a project, we’re not just looking for pieces that are beautiful on their own. We’re thinking about how they work with the architecture, the joinery, the finishes and most importantly how our client will actually live in the space.

After months of drawings, selections, site meetings and construction, this is the stage where everything starts to come together.

Building or renovating and need help taking your home beyond the construction phase? Rocco Revolution can help with furniture selections, sourcing, styling and those all important finishing touches that make a house feel like your home.
