This weekend was a whirlwind including cancelled flights + a Nor'easter. In between all the wedding activities, I was able to find time to bake this delicious soft vanilla cake with a tart raspberry jam filling and a light and creamy whipped cream frosting.

A big thanks to @fernandfableflorals for beautiful flowers and @therugosa for the incredible location!

Congratulations again to my little sister and new brother-in-law! I love you both!

Simon says find the red 💃🏻❤️‍🔥🧲🍒

Red is a portal. Other portals (aka things I cherish):
sleeping on the floor
texts about the sky
sand in the cuffs of my overalls
heated pools
feeling unstoppably inspired
extended stays
dessert to go
used bookstores
holding the door
good timing
stargazing through the moonroof
crafts
dry brushing
receiving words of appreciation
t-shirt benders
French pastries
generosity
crying in the car
projects for no one but myself
drippy candles
daydreaming
long sauna sessions
the moment when a decision becomes clear
drumming on the steering wheel
Merriam Webster ig account
movies in the bath
you :)

they say the best part about going away is coming home :’)

Recent entries from my “things I cherish” note:
spring days that feel like summer
beach dogs
an oversized t-shirt as entire outfit
new moon
French fries
watching a sea of surfers having the time of their lives
car concerts
making up backstories about pieces of art
giggling at the OC
planet Provincetown
a new store to obsess over
funky mani
curating a playlist based on location
allergies
walking commercial street and bumping into friends
“love n happiness”
seashell hunting
blue willow breakfast sandwich
an organized calendar
learning about an artist’s way of life
lemon pastries
and you :)

✨ A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us at the opening reception for Funk & Schuster at Rugosa Gallery last Friday! ✨

Between the art, the oysters, and the overwhelming love from our Provincetown and Rugosa families, it was a celebration of creativity and community we’ll never forget. 🖼️🦪🌸🙏

Seeing decades of Vlad’s craft alongside the incredible works of so many talented artists, all exhibited together for the first time— was powerful and inspiring.

The gallery is open daily through Labor Day, and after that, by appointment.

Come experience it in person! 👀
