Meet Rachel King — the heart behind so much of what happens at MADE Makerspace. 💛

Rachel has helped build a space where people are encouraged to try something new, take creative risks, meet their neighbors, and turn ideas into reality. Her belief in the power of making has helped shape MADE into more than a workshop — it’s become a community.

HAPPY 62ND BIRTHDAY TO RENE KNOTT 🎉

We want to take a moment to wish Rene Knott a happy 62nd birthday.

As many of you already know, Rene stepped into a new chapter and decided to start his own journey with his podcast, The Rundown with Rene Knott. After years of being a trusted voice in St. Louis media, he took that leap and created a platform centered around our stories, our people, and our city.

We also want to thank him for his years of journalism, his dedication, and the way he’s shown up and served this city. That kind of consistency and professionalism doesn’t go unnoticed.

Shorty’s isn’t a one-off anymore.
@schlaflybeer just made the whole 3.0% lineup year-round — Lager, Lemon Wheat and Small IPA.

Intentional. Not watered down.

On the Set at @violaworldwidepodcast never beats around the Bush — not even when it’s Cori Bush.

When we asked, Cori, directly about the tension between her and Wesley Bell, Cori came and met us right where we were. Honest. Direct. Free of dramatization.

She answered every question, thanked us for standing with her, and spoke openly about integrity, truth, and what it really means to serve St. Louis.

No spin. No politics-as-usual. Just real conversation about protecting your name, your family, and your community.

Not sure about you, Mr. Bell, but to us here at VWW that looks a whole lot like accountability. @repwesleybell @wesleybell4mo

Tomorrow. A candid conversation. EP004. 01.25.2026.

We were humbled to host—the Pastor, Nurse, Activist, Former Congresswoman, and current Congressional candidate, Cori Bush — born and raised in St. Louis, now running again for Missouri’s 1st Congressional District.

She pulled up, answered every question, and gave us a real conversation about where she comes from, what shaped her, and the parts of our city that deserve real attention and healing.

The road to Washington starts on The Horseshoe

Grateful for her time. Grateful for her honesty. Proud to represent St. Louis.

Full episode drops Sunday.
