Zachariah Thompson, speaker, storyteller, and founder of The Scatter Joy Project, brought CreativeMornings Columbus up to altitude this morning.

He met the theme with creativity, community, and care, and reminded us that compassion is a tool for change at any elevation.

Thank you, Zachariah, and thank you to everyone who showed up and climbed with us.

Decided to be brave and try something new this morning 🤍

I joined a mental health run hosted by @thescatterjoyproject, @columbusrunning , @shortnorthrunningclub and @brooksgurucolumbus — fantastic craft coffee, supplies to make signs for the upcoming @cbusmarathon , great merch, a few words on why community and events like this are so important, and then we were off and running.

Also got to meet some people, which is why events like this are so great. One mile at a time — I’ll be back ✨

Motown founder Berry Gordy hoped ‘What’s Going On’ would never see the light of day. But Marvin Gaye stuck to his guns and not only released a record that transcends time, but he put out an album that changed the future of music as we know it.

For more discussions on records worth talking about, The Album Club meets the first Monday of every month at @thescatterjoyproject’s storefront in Columbus’ Short North. Stay tuned for details on next month’s album!

tagged as many event hosts as instagram will allow, if you can’t find something just ask! OR visit my new substack (link in bio) for even MORE events and everything linked.

if an event doesn’t list a ticket/door price it is probably FREE! but always double check, i am only human and get things wrong!

it’s also safe to assume that nightlife centered events will be 18+ or 21+, be sure to check that before heading out 💕
