We had the BEST time celebrating this incredibly amazing kiddo!
•
Matson loves music so we surprised him with our first ever family jam session at Bach 2 Rock!! 🎸🥁 Now we are pretty much the coolest band ever! 😎😂 We appreciate B2R for providing the space for us to rock out! 🤘🏼

Knowing how much music speaks to Matson, I got him the same gift my Dad gave me as a kid: a boombox and the Michael Jackson “Bad” cd!! 💿🎵🔊 I cherish that memory and growing up listening to it (and other cd’s) over and over again. Matson was so sweet and said he will carry on that tradition when he has kids and ask them to continue to do the same!! 🥰😍♥️

A huge “THANK YOU” to The Toy Pit for giving Matson and us the VIP treatment and letting us have the store all to ourselves an hour before opening so Matson could pick out his favorite items!! 🛍️🎁 It was such a blast! Can’t wait to go back! 🙌🏻

We also visited the fam in Lafayette!! It was great to spend time with everyone!! Matson enjoyed hanging out, opening presents and eating the yummy cake! 🎂

Turning 🔟 is a big deal! He is now a decade old!! 😳 Matson is such a kind and loving kiddo. He deserves to be celebrated to the fullest! 🎉

I sold my house which officially closed on my birthday back in the summer! 🏠🥳

Looking back from when we first got the keys to now, a lot has changed!! 💗💗💗

From buying that home to selling it, my Realtor Alyce Penry, was there for everything! She was my biggest cheerleader and helped make each step of the process as amazing as possible! 🙌🏻

Emmy is 7!! 🥳

We loved celebrating this wildly spunky kiddo! Emmett is a unique person with such a fun and caring personality! 🤪💗
•
We pretty much had the Indianapolis zoo all to ourselves! It’s like they knew it was Emmett’s birthday! It was wonderful to see the animals and enjoy the beautiful weather! 🐠🐍🐻🦅🍂
•
Then we went to the arcade for laser tag and games! The boys earned a lot of tickets, each hitting a jackpot! 🎟️ Sean and I didn’t let the boys have all the fun! Matson even wanted me to play Halo and added some hilarious commentary! 😅😂

It’s crazy to see how much Emmett has grown over the past seven years! I absolutely adore the person he is and am so very proud to be his Mommy! 🥰

The time has come…

It started out with just Matson, Emmett and me. We had finally made our dream into a reality: 2977 Weatherstone Drive was our first real home together! 🏠
•
Since then, we added a wonderful person to our lives and the sweetest little pup! We made the most amazing memories together with Sean and Pixie in that house! 💗
•
Now, we are ready for the next chapter in life!
•
That means we have to say goodbye to our charming home… 👋🏻🥹
•
We know it will serve as a great home to another family the way it did for us! ❤️‍🩹

May was incredible!! 🙌🏻

I experienced almost more in one month than I have in my life living in Indiana! It was wonderful to share it with Sean! 💗

🏎️ Of course introducing him to the Indy 500 was a must! 🏁

Sarah and Brian were the best tour guides! We had a great time! Now we get to cross that off the bucket list!

I blinked….and now Matson is 9 years old! 🤯🥹

🥳 Happy birthday to this incredibley kind, caring, wicked smart kiddo! He enjoys anything Lego related and has become quite the video gamer! 🎮
•
We had a blast celebrating him!! 💙 We even stumbled upon a new, fun tradition: the 4 of us each grab a fork and eat our own corner of the cake! No plates needed! Pretty messy but totally worth the memories! 🎂🤪
•
Thank you, Mom for letting us host his party at your house! And to the fam for the thoughtful gifts! 🎁

❤️‍🩹 Update ❤️‍🩹

I suppose since we spent New Year’s in the ER, it only made sense to start Valentine’s Day off at the hospital 🏩
•
It was time well spent though! We found a new Urologist who did an AMAZING job!! After healing from the first surgery that didn’t go well and issues from the stent, Dr. Zhang moved everything up to take the kidney stone out right away! 🙌🏻
•
Though it wasn’t ideal for our first Valentine’s Day, it was wonderful to have Sean by my side! He’s been there for me in ways I could have never of imagined! I really appreciate my Mom coming down to be there for my surgery! It brought much needed comfort! ♥️ I’m also grateful for the outpouring of love from friends and family! Everyone’s support has meant so much to me! 🥰
•
A huge THANK YOU to Lori Sonner at DeBrand Fine Chocolates of Indianapolis for the sweet care package! I haven’t been able to go there to enjoy my favorite treats including their delicious hot chocolate (with a half shot of espresso 😋). I’ve missed her and the team! @debrandfinechoc
•
Sean and the boys showered me with love and surprises the rest of the day (photos and videos to come)! I will say, the BEST part was telling Matson and Emmett, “My kidney stone is gone!!!” 💕
•
Now I can be “Mommy” and “Brittany Green” again!! I’m so ready to make great memories with Sean and the boys, get back out there to network, plan social events and boot scoot on the dance floor! 💖✨🤝🤠💃🏼

I suppose I should share this to IG:

You may have noticed my absence on social media. Here’s why…
•
I try to focus on the positive in life, but it’s been tough. Since April, I’ve been dealing with kidney stones, and though I’m a fighter, this tiny crystal has knocked me down recently more times than I’d like to admit. 🥊
•
I’m a people person—I love being social, having fun, and connecting—but lately, pain has kept me from doing much of anything. I stopped making plans, playing with my kids, and going to the gym. The fear of pain hitting at any moment was overwhelming. 😔
•
On New Year’s Eve, my kidney stone moved and caused the worst pain I’ve ever felt. After a trip to the ER and a CT scan, it was discovered the stone was too large to pass. Surgery was scheduled, but there were complications, and the procedure was halted. The recovery wasn’t easy, with intense pain, infection, and dehydration. 🩻🤒 Healing from the injury during surgery would take 4 weeks.
•
But here’s the silver lining: I haven’t been alone in this. Sean has been by my side every step of the way, supporting me and making me smile. I’m also grateful to friends and family who’ve brought meals and shown love during this tough time. 💗
•
More has happened since all of this. I’ll post an update soon…❤️‍🩹
