Connecting undiscovered African and International talent with college coaches | By @seanekeabraham

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The African Coaches Initiative is open, and it’s completely free.

Ask who discovered and developed the African talent that went through the college system before becoming world class and most people can’t name them.

A coach in Nairobi or Lagos or Accra puts years into an athlete development. Grass track. Borrowed spikes and unfavorable conditions.

Then the athlete is recruited by a U.S. college programme, and the coach’s name appears nowhere. No recognition. No support. No call afterwards.

So the coach moves on to work that pays and stops coaching completely , and the next athlete is never developed for lack of support. Africa never loses the talent. It loses the people who develop it.

Only a few African coaches can develop athletes all the way to world class, and some athletes need the college system to develop further due to lack of support in their respective countries.

This initiative is designed to support African coaches and Athletes.

What registered coaches get:

💰 A coach development incentive — registered coaches are eligible
📋 Named as developing coach on every athlete you submit
📊 Our evaluation tools and the recruiting standards U.S. college programmes use
🔔 Live updates when college staff open your athletes’ profiles

📖 Coaching education opportunities

Free to join. Free for your athletes.
