How awesome was the 2026 season! 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who followed along and supported our incredible athletes on their A2A journeys.

Thank you to our hardworking A2A crew — JC, Nino, Paul and Vicki — and to our fantastic pilots, Lance, Tanya and all the Pedro crew, for everything you do to make these challenges possible.

What a season. Bring on 2027! 💙

The Blue Team is ready and waiting for the call to take on the English Channel🌊⏱️

Yesterday, the Headmaster led the team into a large, rolling westerly swell training out toward Beer Head, Devon. While no one would willingly start a Channel Relay in those conditions, the sea doesn’t care about plans, and conditions change fast. Tough, realistic training like yesterday’s means this team is prepared for whatever the Channel throws at them💪🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️

🎉 10 YEARS OF CHANNELTITAN: AN INCREDIBLE LEGACY! 🎉

It all started a decade ago today with an epic showdown in the English Channel: a historic three-way race between our pupils, staff, and The Royal Marines. In a dramatic sprint for the French shore just before midnight, the pupil team finished a spectacular second place, placing a mere three minutes behind the elite Royal Marines after a mammoth 15 hour battle 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

The ChannelTitan series always has a philanthropic charity focus and that first swim raised £16700 for The Royal Marines Charity 👍

That unforgettable first swim launched a legacy that has seen 87 of our pupils and staff conquer one of the world’s toughest swims, with 6 more brave pupils still waiting their call🤞

Thank you to every swimmer, staff member and supporter who has been part of this this epic journey👏

Turn up the sound to hear the most important questions you will be asked in the safety briefing on a channel swim piloting boat at the start of your swim....

Jared was attempting to become #68 Enduroman. Running from Marble Arch in London to Dover, in Kent. He then had to swim the English Channel, before cycling from Calais to the Arc de Triumphe in Paris.

My role was to observe the swim attempt, to ensure that it was completed within the rules, such as not touching the boat during the swim and documenting the start time, place and finish, as well as ensuring the safety of the swimmer. Counting stroke rate, checking if he had passed urine, and was able to respond appropriately to his support crew. It turned out barking at each other was their preferred method of communication

Being a (small) part in somebodies voyage to achieve their dream is emotional and so rewarding. Thank you @enduroman_arch2arc for having me on board the team

Postponed last year. Got the call up a week earlier this year. Forecast worse than predicted. Jellyfish everywhere. That’s channel swimming for you!

A very last minute trip after getting the call from the pilot but what a trip it was! Left Jersey on Wednesday morning and we were in the channel by Wednesday afternoon. Landed at Audresselles in the early hours of Thursday morning and then team then dispersed back to Jersey/Brighton/Bristol on Thursday afternoon!

The Valence Buoys are incredibly thankful to the Sea Satin crew. To Tanya, Mike and Jake you guys were amazing and we cannot thank you all enough for guiding us so expertly across the Channel. Having to put up with Blake asking you to speed up, Mark feeding the fish and Nige swimming on either side of the boat. Thanks also to Jason from CS&PF for your support and watchful eye. #channelswimmingassociation #channelswim #channelpilot @theseasatin @jasonkelvinphotos @tanyacharding
