Add this one to the list of things I’ve fixed. This Yamaha DX7’s internal battery had went dead. They us a coin sized 2032 battery to run the internal memory and it is usually hardwired into the motherboard. I wired a small battery box into the motherboard so changing batteries wouldn’t be such a chore. Thank you Richard!!

It’s not often I actually get time to work on one of my own guitars. Finally making some major improvements to this @officialjacksonguitars Surfcaster 7 string. Already put locking tuners and a Hipshot bridge on it. Tonight I made a new nut from a graphite blank, rolled the fretboard edges, dressed the daylights out of the fret ends. They weren’t sharp, but they were protruding especially after rolling the fretboard. Finally I polished the frets. Tomorrow I’ll be installing this @seymourduncanpickups JB and adding a mini switch for a series/parallel option. This thing will be a monster at our show Saturday.

Ouch. This kid was definitely excited to be able to have his favorite guitar back and to be able to play it again after a terrible accident. He was even more excited that it was set up and played better than before, and ready to get back to church to play. Also pictured are my two MVA’s (Most Valuable Assistants), Sunday and Wednesday. Thank you so much to the Kemp family for reaching out.

Right on time for Christmas!!! This Affinity Squire just needed a little cleaning, a set up, and the input jack soldered back on. It became a SOLID player. Honestly the pickguard made my eye twitch at first but it quickly grew on me and I’m jealous that I had to give it back!!

Client picked his up and wanted it set up. He managed to snag a @bareknucklepickupsofficial Juggernaut that he wanted in it. I noticed the “M” logo and realized this is the closest I’ll come to playing a @mayonesguitars so I was ecstatic. Super cool LTD @espguitars that I’ve wanted to try out for a while now. Thank you Cooper and thank you Greg for the referral.

Full circle moment. The very first guitar we gave to a tornado victim back in for a free string change and some fine tuning. Thank you Heather. We are so happy that you are playing so much.

Guy said “I’m never going to plug it in, just pull the stupid thing out!” So I did and it doesn’t buzz anymore. LOL. Beautiful Cort guitar. Plays and sounds great. Thanks to Ronnie for the business and confidence. Fun fact: Cort manufactures a lot of other brand’s guitars including Ibanez, Squire by Fender, and Paul Reed Smith’s SE guitars.
