✨ MEET THE DESIGNERS ✨ Okay, technically Hafwen isn’t a designer… but we couldn’t possibly do our catwalk without her! 👀 Meet the wonderful Hafwen of @thesequinsuitcase, a quirky vintage clothing and curiosities boutique in Fishguard. 🪩✨ When we filmed with Hafwen, she was celebrating her 6 month anniversary, so a huge llongyfarchiadau! 🎉🥂 Six months of curating wonderful vintage pieces, curiosities and a whole lot of character. We’re SO excited to be showcasing The Sequin Suitcase on our catwalk this Saturday. Hafwen’s eye for style is something pretty special, and with so many clothes ending up discarded or in landfill, we wanted to shine a little spotlight on the power of second hand and the incredible independent shops right here on our doorstep. Fashion doesn’t always have to mean something brand new. Sometimes the most interesting pieces already have a story. ♻️✨ And we think The Sequin Suitcase is a pretty fabulous example of exactly that. @sustainablefashionweek_uk is happening this week! So here enjoy a few slides ! 1 -My residency/ Family friendly exhibition Open 8th&9th Oct 10-12 or 10th&11th Oct 10-2 @bakersat70 (Or message to pop in during the week) 2-  A Children's Swap shop 3rd October 10-1 @transitionbrogwaun   where I'll be doing some rag weaving activities.  3. And Hafwen at the @thesequinsuitcase who is collabing with @ward_robe_wales to bring a Children's rail to the shop at the start of October!! . Would love to share more on sustainable textiles/fashion, slow mending, clothing repair, natural dyes as part of the next few weeks and generally make connections for future projects, please message if you are or know people interested in this area of practice/life! .
