POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I am extremely grateful that @thesinedit a magazine from the UK reached out to me to do an article for them. It turned out that they asked me a series of questions and this is the intro to their interview.

I’ll be posting their questions and my answers over the next few days, so keep an eye out for them.

“For Pauline, intimacy begins long before sex. As an “Intimacy Whisperer”, therapist and author of Empowered Conscious Sexuality, she explores what happens when we stop treating desire as something to perform and start listening to what the body is actually communicating. Numbness, tension, anxiety, and disconnection, she suggests, can be signals rather than problems to simply overcome.

Her perspective is shaped not only by professional experience but also by her own journey through sexual abuse and trauma. That experience led her to question the idea that healing can be neatly completed through a single practice or breakthrough, eventually deepening her work with Havening Techniques® and the relationship between trauma, neuroscience, and the body.

At the heart of her approach is a quieter understanding of pleasure: presence. Conscious sexuality means becoming more aware of what feels right, communicating openly, respecting boundaries, and creating space where saying no is genuinely safe. It also means challenging the cultural scripts that leave men anxious about performance and women uncertain about owning desire.”
