Getting the hours in. Sometimes you just have to put on your shoes, choose a direction and go. Just have the kilometres tick on over. Don’t overthink it. Just do.

I must say it does help to listen to a podcast or some music! I am so glad I got myself some @hakii_sa headphones to get in the zone when I need to zone out 😆

They will soar on the wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.

A different morning can bring more than you expect.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Simonsig yesterday for Heritage Day. You made it a special morning on the trails.

A big thank you to BWT Stellenbosch for the water at the mini aid station and bottled water at the finish line; THE Socks for the custom Heritage Day mohair socks; Farmina for handing out goodie bags and prizes; and Simonsig Wine Estate for hosting us.

If you’ve been thinking about trying something different, your first step can be simple:

1. Choose an event.
2. Pick your distance.
3. Come and run or walk with TrailFun.

Find your next TrailFun and enter at https://entries.trailfun.co.za

Becoming Brave. One small change. More than you expected.
