I was craving a good steak and cheese from @thesquaredeli They make some of the best around, but I live too far away, so I had to make my own. Not even half as good 😂 but it definitely hit the spot.

I made it with my biga dough recipe, super crispy, with shaved ribeye, onions, cheese, and a little Duke’s mayo.

I’m back in the hospital this week due to complications of the gastric cancer. Getting my steps in around the hallways. There’s been progress and hope to be home soon continuing the fight. Thank you everyone for your love and positive vibes!

During my chemo treatment I had brain fog where I didn’t have the focus for reading and writing but thankfully the creative, artsy side of my brain was still ignited. Since I can’t lift weights at the moment I found new avenues to explore. One of my favorite past times is creating sauces and I perfected my version of the Vietnamese OT SATE (chili crisp). It’s spicy, savory, sweet, and versatile for any dish! Launching COCO’s GOLDEN HEAT, you can grab a jar @thesquaredeli。

‼️ You’re from Massachusetts why you calling it a cheesesteak? Let me explain. These plays on the Philly style cheesesteak are here to stay in MA and we’re falling in love.
