The busiest month I ever had, blessed to walk through hardships, gain more knowledge, and reroute my techniques.

pt 3
I’ve realized that throughout my time at SCAD, I’ve never really made a post dedicated to all the bts photography I’ve done, which is insane considering how much of it has had an impact and shaped me as an artist.
Over the past few years, I’ve had the opportunity to be on roughly 15 sets, all wildly different from one another. From the people I met, to the stories being told, every set has been its own experience, and each one has taught me something new. Whether it was something about photography, filmmaking, collaboration, or simply how to better navigate a set, each experience has helped me grow and become the person I am today
With my time at SCAD nearly over, I wanted to finally share a tiny bit of my work!
To everyone who trusted me to document their sets, thank you! Thank you for letting me be a small part of your stories, for trusting my eye, and for giving me the space to experiment, learn, and grow. I’m incredibly grateful for every opportunity, every set and lastly to every person on set I have taken photos of, thank you for letting me:))

A huge shoutout to our story development team!! Finn helped Blake lead story development between drafts, shaping the story hand in hand with Blake. Dream a Little Dream had many talented people help get the script to be solid 💜

I have dreamed many dreams but none as incredible as being a producer for this project 💟

I am so honored to have worked on a project with probably the best crew i’ve ever worked with! I am so in awe of everyone that came together from all walks of the past 4 years of Blake’s career and showed up to make this film a reality. That is what film is. These past 5 months have flown by on an emotional rollercoaster of stress, laughter, insane ideas, blossoming friendships, and dedication. Our wonderful actors, Daliana and Trace, thank you for bringing these characters to life. You both are such brilliant actors and beautiful souls. Dream Team Baddie Squad, seeing the fruition of this project from our first meeting to the end of production has been the highlight of this for me. Kit for being my co producer in crime, literally my home for two weeks, my sanity. I love you so much. And lastly thank you blake. I literally love you so much :( Thank you for trusting lil old sophomore me in the first place and taking us on this wonderful journey. You are the coolest, craziest, and talented director a gal can ever know. You are truly an incredible artist and this film will take you far. (hello oscars nom) This may seem like an odyssey of an essay but trust me when you see the final product that this film merits much more. I love you all very much dreamers!

Being a grip for ‘Dream a Little Dream’ was among the most challenging experiences I’ve had in my filmmaking career, yet it was also the most fun and rewarding experience I could have been a part of. Making this film demanded an open-mind and strength to everyone involved and I have nothing but deep gratitude that I was able to contribute to its process in some capacity, and I am forever blessed for the many friends I got to make because of it. Massive shoutout to our director @thestarinblake for her willingness to tackle an unsettling issue with filmmaking prowess and creativity. This film is a special one.
