Monsterville looks so good on Super 8!!!

Happy Monsterville-Eve to all who celebrate!! One of my favorite things about living in Merchantville is how seriously EVERYONE takes Halloween. When @everlastingeventsnj and I moved to town 5 years ago, we had no idea just how much of a thing Halloween was in town. Right down to the sign changing from Merchantville to Monsterville.

We’ve always been big Halloween people, but over the past 5 years it’s solidified itself as our favorite holiday. Halloween night in Monsterville is something that has to be seen to be believed. Roads flow, children flood the streets, and you go through a metric ton of candy by the hour for trick-or-treaters who come from all over to see displays and get in the spirit! There’s something that happens pretty much every weekday in October and this year is going to be 10 years of Monsterville, so you know it’ll be the biggest one yet and it kicks off with the @merchantvillemarketoffcentre on Friday, and continues on Saturday with the Harvest & Haunts Festival. I am also especially pumped for our annual @mvillezombierun on the 24th and our first ever @merchantville_porchfest on Saturday the 10th!

Thats without even getting into the mystic street fair, house decorating contests, Mr. And Mrs. Monsterville pageant during the Harvest Festival, and way more in the lead up to Halloween!

I can’t wait to capture even more of it on film and Super 8 this year! 🎃

New art show is up - including our interactive art installation. Makes sense?

Take a canvas home, express yourself, and create something beautiful inspired by the theme FLOWER—whether through painting, sculpting, printing, collaging, or any other medium. Once you’re done, bring it back and become part of this growing, collective artwork.

All pieces will be auctioned, with proceeds supporting our outside garden. Please note this is a donation piece: you will not receive your artwork back, and you agree that it may be sold as part of the installation.
Be a part of something unique—we can’t wait to see what you create!

🚨 URGENT FOSTERS NEEDED TODAY 🚨

Four amazing cats are counting on us, and we need your help. You can meet them at our adoption event Sunday or please apply to foster before the event to get them out of the hospital and safe from the threat of going to a shelter

🧡Elle– This beautiful 5–6 month old domestic medium hair calico was found outside and is incredibly sweet. She may do well with other cats with slow, proper introductions and is super playful

🩶Moro – Through no fault of her own, Moro is looking for a fresh start. She is incredibly affectionate, loves attention, and already seems interested in making friends with other animals. She deserves a family that will love her forever.

🩶Jacob (formerly McMansion) – Our tiny “werewolf” kitten is thriving! After two blood transfusions, this 2–3 month old miracle baby is doing amazingly well. Jacob loves everyone and everything and is ready to start the next chapter of his life.

🤍 Tuesday – Tuesday was found by the kind people searching for their missing Fishtails alumni, Cinnamon. Now Tuesday needs help today. Without a foster home, he may have nowhere else to go except a shelter. We are doing everything we can to keep that from happening.

Can you open your home? Fostering saves lives, and we provide medical care and support every step of the way.

💸 Can’t foster? Donations are just as critical. Every dollar helps us provide food, litter, medical care, vaccinations, and emergency treatment so cats like these can get the second chance they deserve.

Please go to farsaves.com to apply to foster or donate. Can’t do those? Sharing the post is free, one share could be the reason these cats find safety.

Unfortunately, due to the current forecast, we’ve decided to cancel tomorrow nights event. They’re calling for wind and thunderstorms which are two things we just don’t want to play around with for everyone’s safety!

With that said, we can’t wait to be back on the mile next month on Friday, August 7th from 5-8pm! Mark your calendars now and please don’t miss it! 🌞🎶
