Celebrated the life of our birthday girl yesterday and it really was the best day. More to come later but for now here’s the gorgeous fall sunset we were gifted by Mother Nature. @l_bow @thesteviedoodle

Lots of life has been happening in our household so I’ve been behind in documenting the big moments. This year I turned 40. We kicked off the year in Mexico with Dave and Tim on the beach and the celebrations continted through the end of October. One of the highlights was a 40th Birthday-TAY Celebration on Whidbey Island with a collection of accomplished, inspiring, and beautiful women. A night of cabin snuggles, laughter, keeping warm with electric blankets, and @taylorswift at the @bluefoxdrivein. Sometimes smaller simple celebrations are the most memorable. Bringing this group of women together to celebrate life was perfect in every way. Ladies: thank you for being part of my circle, for living and loving life with me, for asking hard questions, for laughing until we cry. Thank you for being here when I need you. Thank you for loving me, and for letting me love you.

I met all my best dog friends right away!! Lilly, Breezy and Willie!!! They were all much bigger than me, but I wasn’t scared! They were so nice and fun and I loved jumping all over them!! I even met a horse 🐎 which was a giant creature. Have you guys seen those things?!

In my first week at home, I met a lot of people including my awesome cousins! And I found a pair of feet that were comfy cozy.

The second time my mom came to see us, I went right over to her and eyed her with my green eye 👁️….Making sure she knew it was me she was taking.
🎾
Pictured also is when my mom decided it was me! And my first bath at my first home. I naturally crossed my arms like that bc I’m cute like that 🛁
