POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Almost a month later, but this one deserves a post.

The Great Lenexa BBQ Battle 2026 wasn't our highest finish, but it felt like another step forward.

This year we rolled out our new team banner, upgraded two canopies, streamlined our setup, and finally started looking as organized as we hoped.

Huge thanks to our friends and local sponsors who helped make it happen.

Then came the biggest debate of the weekend...

Last year our Miscellaneous entry earned a call with bacon-wrapped turkey tenderloin medallions.

This year Mike wanted to try to improve it even further. Burnt-end style turkey bites wrapped in bacon.

The rest of us weren't convinced. "Stick with what worked."

Mike's response?

"Go big or go home." 🤣🤙

Fortunately... it worked.

🥈 2nd Place Miscellaneous! And our first-ever PERFECT 180 SCORE!! 🔥

🥩 17th Sausage 🍖 15th Ribs 🍗 38th Chicken

Every contest teaches us something. This one reminded us that sometimes it's worth trusting your instincts, trying something new, and enjoying the ride with good friends.

Special thanks to our sponsors and friends for helping us take another step forward this season: @absoluteawards @thestudioschoolofdance @galbrechteyecare ...along with Partee Plumbing and BZ Graphics for helping make our new look possible.

Grill. Chill. This Is Nice. 🤙

Who would win? A psychotic with a medical degree or dangerous dance troop on a team bonding excursion? This sort of mashup might sound like an A24 winter film release but in actuality it's just another day here at Full Moon Escape!

Congrats to @The Studio School of Dance team for conquering the dubious Dr. Boyle's Terrifyingly Twisted Dentistry escape room!

If you think you've got the poise and grace to escape Dr. Boyle unscathed (or maybe just a little scathed) you should RSVP the Dr. Boyle's Terrifyingly Twisted Dentistry escape room, today!
