As part of NAPO’s annual Go Month of Service, NAPO-LA is proud to partner with Rotary District 5280 to support military families through a community donation drive.

Donations will benefit Camp Pendleton’s Warrior Warehouse and Fort MacArthur’s Airman’s Attic, providing essential items at no cost to local military families.

Saturday, January 10
9am–12pm
Hawthorne High School

We’re collecting new and gently used clothing, baby and children’s items, household essentials, and more. Volunteers are also welcome to assist with unloading.

2025 was a full year. Even with its challenges, we are grateful for partnership & community.

A few highlights from this year are:

✨ Working with @musicchanginglives, @soulsavingproductions, @soulful_soil_farms to support fire relief efforts in Altadena.

✨ Pulling up to @findyourhilltop for a pop-up farmers market. What was originally meant to be our 4 year anniversary celebration turned into an event to support fire relief efforts in Altadena.

✨ Popping up at @crenshawdairymart to celebrate their exhibit “Free the Land! Free the People!”

✨ Attending the 2nd Annual @faiyazfreedomtobreathe “Show U Off” Luncheon in Charlotte, NC! Prosperity Market was previously grantees of the Faiyaz Freedom to Breathe Foundation “Show U Off” Grant.

✨ Attending @blackwomeninfood summit in DC. We look forward to attending this gathering every year!

Seeing everyone coming together is one of the most beautiful things out of so much tragedy and devastation.

As I watched the fires rage and demolish not only homes but lives, I reached out to Christine to see if she was ok. And sadly, she lost her home, and all her and the boys possessions.

We went to high school together and reconnected years ago. She is a fellow single mompreneur and sister alumni from St. Joseph’s High School in Lakewood.

I asked myself how I could help such an overwhelming situation. And so the answer I came up with was to be in service & how I can to help my friend.

So spreading the word, rallying resources, and being a friend.

Only sharing that part to explain if u are feeling like helping and not sure. Ask someone you trust. If u don’t know someone directly, I am sure u are one or two degrees away to help someone directly.

I am asking on Christine’s behalf as it’s so hard for so many to ask for help.
