Duppy BTS...official images dropping soon!

This is why I have to get on set before everyone else. I'm creating the scene, setting the tone, and coordinating this in nature backed by the elements of wind and earth was magical. Hallin Bank (where most of the images were captured) should be a national treasure or at least a Kingston Treasure.

If you zoom in the last pic, you'll see me in the back on the phone with my darling assistant (@stushbythepound) confirming arrivals.

All images by @daniellehmyers

Once this table was set, I was calmer. The sounds of Kingston traffic, breeze, wind chimes, and rustling leaves from the bamboo plants at Hallin Bank and the shadowsss got me going.

I didn't know @daniellehmyers took these until she sent them after we wrapped. I love them sm!

Another image from an AP Production, circa '23, that lives rent free in my head 💞❣️ it embodies a longing, a love lost, possibly unrequited? Who knows? I just know this story is not yet complete..

"reBirth" 📸 by Becx; #styledbyme 🤗

This was the quintessential passion project. Typically, how we work, Becx sends the directive, and I get to work on the looks. This was not a quick turnaround, I was dragging it a bit so we could develop the ideas properly, I feel like my best work is not necessarily slow but limitless... steady...intentional.

With these images, you'll see pieces I've had for yeeeears just sitting and waiting to be used from #thestyleredeemerstudios 😏 That's a reminder of how nothing - absolutely nothing - happens before it's time.

In the same way a child would - imagine and conjour this imaginative world, I brought those imaginations to life for the fitting. We had 13 looks 🫠 (check last slide), but only settled on three strong ones 💪🏽. We shot 2 unconfirmed looks to get the vibe going (those ended up being fab as well, soon post) and then started on the top three because pace is key.

Becx's keynotes were fantasy, ocean/island, and distress/ed. I hope you all like, share, and are moved by these images. This one is dedicated to uninterrupted flow. Also, @thebecx snapped **drops mic**
