The brilliant Jamie from The Sweet Hooligan based in North London, UK visited our cozy little kitchen and gave our intelligent team of women a workshop on how to make cakesickles! 🍰🍧🍡

She led the trainees through the basics, as well as taught them some marbling and the use of gold leaf! Swipe to see the amazing end product. 🌟💛

just thinking back to these amazing lil treats we got for matt’s birthday from @thesweethooligan 💙🖌

@thesweethooligan completely brought my vision to life after i asked for marbled baby blue and white geo hearts and cake popsicles with gold flakes / gold splatters! the detail is just perfect !!! and jamie was VERY patient with my indecisiveness 😅 which is a win for us ALL X the price is SO reasonable too esp when considering how high quality both the products and her service is🥰

@thesweethooligan makes the softest, most flavoursome cakes which are encased within the sweetest chocolate! i chose vanilla (my fave flavour 🤩) and red velvet and they were 10/10!! and the lil biscuits were so cute .. sadly they were scranned before i could try but i mean i was lucky to have any of it anyway 😅😅 however the feedback was v good and matt wished he had 100 more of each one he got lol

i would’ve taken a pic of the inside of them BUTTTT as i said these were devoured v quick so we can admire their sheer beauty 🦋💙🖌🔵🍪🎂

if you don’t know who @thesweethooligan is then WHERE have you been?

@thesweethooligan is a dessert shop ran by the amazing Jamie within the north london area. Jamie first began her baking ventures almost 10 years ago when living in Singapore where she ran a thriving business (no surprise there 😜) selling different cakes. Jamie sold her business before moving to the UK and recently rekindled her love and passion for her business and created @thesweethooligan! (luckily for us!!!)

the moment I set eyes on Jamie’s page, I immediately fell in love with the delicacy, precision, time and care that went into all her products to make sure they were as perfect as they can be! recently Jamie posted asking which colours she should try next and ofc i HAD to suggest my fave colour combination - yellow and purple 💛💜 and as you can see, the rest was history 😜🤤😋🤩🥰

🍰 whats in the box 🍰
- a chocolate smash heart with my name on it aka cutest thing i’ve ever received 😭💖
- a yellow polka dotted heart filled with chocolate cake
- a purple popsicle filled with vanilla cake

ngl, i was fighting with myself for a few days whether or not to break into these bad boys because of their BEAUTY. however, knowing i had a smash heart .. i had to do what it was made for me - SWIPE ➡️ to see the live action smash and its fun goodies inside 🤤🤩

once i started, i just couldn’t stop and began eating everything LOL. the chocolate was PERFECT and the choc / vanilla cake used in the mini heart and popsicle was the softest, most flavoursome cake i’ve had in a while. the vanilla is 100% my favourite as i am such a sucker for a vanilla / choc combination hehe.

Jamie uses the both the finest chocolate for her creations as well as locally sourced ingredients which we LOVE! i am so impressed with the quality of each product - they are a great gift for any celebration or even a cheeky indulgence at a v. reasonable price too! 🥳

The Sweet Hooligan @thesweethooligan ~ more times the sweetest baker (pun intended). North London 📍

Pictured: Smash heart & cake popsicles. Flavours include :
- Cakesicle in chocolate fudge cake
- Purple round in red velvet cake
- White bar in vanilla sponge cake

I know a lot of people have started to do smash hearts and popsicles etc but this was by far the prettiest and most delicate one I had seen. The fact that she has worked for magazines, banks, luxury brands and technology companies really shows in her work.

Taste- My days!! The pretty lilac chocolate heart firstly looks plastic because of how good it looks and it tastes even better! It went down a treat in the family. All the sweets underneath the chocolate heart were carefully selected (lindor, starbursts, candy) & I enjoyed having them all! In relation to the popsicles, having tried all 3 favours of cake, I can say happily that they all tasted just as delicious as each other but my favourite had to be the red velvet cake! They just all looked so lush and tasted so good with the outside layer being covered with beautifully crafted chocolate and the inside being layered with cake! I mean who doesn’t like chocolate and cake?? Does it get any better!

- The others - £3.50 each

Customer service: Jamie is the sweetest person ever with amazing customer service and great personality! Definitely felt like friends when I was talking to her.

Overall ~ 10/10! I look forward to ordering in the future sometime as a gift for my family as they really enjoyed the selection! Also how pretty is the colour?I love pastel colours, definitely giving me summer 2021 vibes!
